Fantastic location with a nice, quiet beach. So nice to be able to get towels and beach chairs from the cabana. Saw a sea turtle and watched spinner dolphins do their thing right from our spot on the beach. Condo was nice, with cold filtered water available. The bed was pretty firm, so heads up if you’re used to a pillow top! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay though, and we totally want to come back to Maui Eldorado!

Nice Condo close to everything

The condo was nice and clean, the lanai was great for the rainy days, and the host was very accommodating! Would highly recommend!

Nice place

The property was very nice. We enjoyed the convenience to the beach and whalers village. Unfortunately we felt the furniture looked nice but was very uncomfortable.

Fantastic location, clean and comfortable, a little worn

This was our 4th stay at the Maui El Dorado, first time in this unit. Its right across from the pool, but still very quiet. We love this location and would be happy to stay in this unit again. My only comment concerns the furnishings. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom are clean, modern and well stocked, but the furniture desperately needs to be upgraded. There are four straight back chairs around the dining table. Fine for eating, but not for relaxing. There are two chairs with very low backs and flat seats that are surprisingly uncomfortable to sit in. You can't relax in them at all. The couch is actually a fold out bed, which was great for napping, but extremely uncomfortable to sit on. We ended up sitting on the bed most of the time when we were in the unit because all the furniture was so uncomfortable. On the Lenai, which is spacious and quiet, and I enjoyed often, there are two comfortable chairs, but one of them was broken and unusable. Fortunately they had some folding chairs, for guests I assume, so my wife could use the unbroken chair and I could use one of the folding ones. There were no reclining chairs or lounge chairs at all. So in summary, great property, great location, clean, comfortable, but really needs some new furniture!

Maui Eldorado is the place to stay!

My fiance and I really enjoyed our time at the Eldorado! Property Manager Vivian was very helpful in ensuring our 3 week stay was something to remember. The units were clean, Eldorado staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the beach-front cabana!

Nice Spot!

Just okay

Clean and near the beach and town centers. Did just fine for a couple days before we left to our other VRBO. Comparing the two... this one was over-priced for what it offered. I got a 2 bedroom fully renovated condo directly on the water with all high end appliances/accessories (binoculars to watch the whales go by which we did!), a welcome basket full of organic fruits, coffee, snacks and beer in the fridge waiting ... all for the same price as this one which is out-dated and difficult to get to from the parking garage & office. People at the desk were nice though. Did not hear from the owner of this property at all - not even to check in to make sure all was well.

3rd Stay at Maui Eldorado

This was our third stay at the Maui Eldorado and our third studio. As it was just the two of us, we find renting a studio is ideal. We appreciated the location of this studio, and that it has no carpeting. The kitchen has everything it needs, but the stove isn't great. The kitchen could do with a renovation, and the living room furniture isn't very comfortable. Despite this two deficits, neither really detracted from our stay. The location of the Maui Eldorado is perfect, and we enjoy the low-key atmosphere. Also, when we were home in the evenings, most of the time was spent out on the lanai. This particular unit also comes with some beach chairs and an decent beach umbrella, which is very helpful and considerate.

Maui Eldorado

My wife and I recently spent a week at the Maui Eldorado and had a great stay. You are 5 minutes to private beach or the Sheraton, which has best snorkeling. Close to Whalers Village. Pool was clean, everything was beautiful. I would recommend it.

Nice property and unit, except for the bed!

Hello Vivian, We would return to the Maui Eldorsdo property. We loved the upstairs corner unit with spacious balcony. However we would not stay in that unit again because the bed was soft and my husband and I both developed back pain for the week 😔 Do you have any other upstairs corner units that have temporo-pedic mattresses? I would like to know the listing numbers of those properties in Maui Eldorsdo for next year and maybe we would try one of those properties instead. Thank you! Cynthia

Cozy studio

This cute studio was exactly what we needed for our Maui vacation. The bed was comfy, the kitchen had basic cooking utensils for the few nights we ate in. Eating on the lanai was awesome. The proximity to the pool did not cause any noise issues. We loved having a washer and dryer available. Beach towels, chairs, and a boogie board were available in-unit, as well as a hair dryer. Everything felt very spacious. Would recommend!

Great location and view of the pool

Just returned from an 8 day stay at unit G201, it was very welcoming and beautifully decorated, clean, and well stocked with everything you need to get started. I enjoyed walking the beautiful beach every morning and using the cabana to relax and absorb the view. The pool has been newly renovated and and is very close for a quick dip. We walked to Whalers Village, a short 15 min., but if you aren't up to the hike, a free trolley is available to ride and stops in front of the main office. A great find this trip was CJ's Deli in the front shopping strip, wonderful sandwiches, breakfasts, and would pack box lunches for picnics to go. Will definitely return and would recommend to others.
