"We were looking for a week of pure relaxation and that’s exactly what we got! The house is beautiful. We took a couple of day trips (Playa Blanca and the cloud forest), but the highlight of our trip was lounging in the hammock, dipping in the pool and watching the cows walk by at twilight. Great spot if you are looking for a restful escape, or a more local experience. The owners also offer a variety of day trips if you are looking for more adventure!"

"For reference we stayed in Atenas Costa Rica April 14th through April 19th. The house is gorgeous, and the view from the backyard is stunning. On two separate occasions toucans came to the tree in the backyard to feed on the berries. We also had 6 head of cows/ bulls wander up one morning while we enjoyed coffee on the back porch. "This was a spacious property to accommodate a girls trip. The property is beautiful and gives you beach access directly across the street. The water was hot and the pool clean. Shopping and dining are within walking distance. Miro mountain is near the house with a beautiful overlook especially at sunset. The house could stand a good spring cleaning but the caretaker is available for any issues (we didn’t have any). "
