    The home's open design takes full advantage of the trade winds for a comfortable, breezy stay.

    Located in a newly built, gated community the house is safe & secure and just a short walk to the beach.

    Owners Lisa & Joel live just a short walk or drive away in the village of Lagun and are waiting to make your stay memorable. Check out the reviews of our other property in Lagun #4780784 on the home away website. If your dates are already booked or you'd like something smaller and less expensive checkout our other seaside property in Jeremi at VRBO #9283558 (one bedroom).

    The house is a duplex style with a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment on one side and a single apartment on the other. If you are interested in renting both sides together please contact the owner.

It's just a great place to spend time relaxing. A beautiful view of the ocean right out the back door with front row seats to the spectacular sunsets. The only thing that can be a downside (or plus) is it's located at the less developed side of the island, restaurants, etc. We really liked the Daniels restaurant suggested by the owner and went back a few times. There are several beaches close by to explore, we liked the two Knip beaches the best.

We loved the house and the view. Lisa and Joel were great hosts, we even happened to run into them one day while out and about and they showed us where to go to see the blue room cave. I would 100% stay here again if we come back. We even liked this house more than our second place on the island that we rented.

A million dollar view

A beautiful property with amazing views, not close to the main areas of the island, but we found some really nice restaurants near playa grande just a few minutes drive away. You definitely need a car but it’s well worth it.

Lisa and Joel were absolutely the best hosts and their house info book was the most detailed resource guide we have every experienced. They are very responsive and personable. The house location was perfect with spectacular views and quiet. Highly recommended!

Relaxing and Wonderful

Everything was great! The house was secluded and in a beautiful location. It was comfortable and had everything I needed. The covered deck and private pool overlooking the Caribbean Sea were perfect. Everything exceeded our expectations, starting with Lisa to help explain the VRBO process - this was our first VRBO property. Heinrich was great to work and made our stay more comfortable. Fantastic oceanfront hideaway

This is a wonderful place, a peaceful location, with a very charming small house with amazing views, both sunset and moonlight. Curaçao was unusually hot when we were there but this was never a problem because of the breeze through the house and of course the pool. Many thanks to Joel and Lisa for the hospitality and all the kind advice on restaurants, groceries etc. We are already looking forward to our next trip and will surely be back!

Loved the Sol Patch Property

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the design of this property. Located on the Northwest end of the Island, it was a perfect place for awesome beach access and the parks. Located right facing the ocean, we were able to witness beautiful sunsets each evening while bathing in the small pool on the property. Kitchen amenities were great and saves money when you cook for yourselves...Although we did go out a couple of times for dinner at places recommended by Joel and Lisa. All in all, my wife and I had a great stay and highly recommend this property.

Awesome place on the ocean!

The property was perfect for a relaxing for a week in the sun and enjoying some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Lisa and Joel were easy to work with and helpful with navigating the island. This property is a duplex unit, but the owners have used landscape and walls to give good privacy. Very quiet part of the island. The plunge pool is so nice to cool off in while watching the sunset.

Perfect island escape

The property is just as we like it out of the tourist areas and in the Hearst of what makes the island life perfect living. The property was very clear, great ocean view and a wonderful plunge pool for relaxing and looking out at the perfect water. A short walk to Playa Jeremi where we were often the only people enjoying the water. Not a far drive from some great snack spots and dinner options, as well as local places to explore the unique landscape of the island. We will be back.

If you want to totally relax….

Sol Patch 2 is my idea of heaven on earth. What could be better than morning coffee, gazing at the sea, with just the sound of birds, breeze, and the water? If you want an excited, action packed vacation, this is probably not your cup of tea. But if you want to totally relax, away from it all, and surrounded by beauty, this is the place!

We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and relaxing vacation! Sol Patch exceeded our expectations for our long anticipated and very much needed trip. You won’t regret it!

We had a fabulous stay at Sol Patch 2. Beautiful private setting was the perfect place to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We sat in the pool at sunset or under the stars every day and spent lots of time relaxing on the huge veranda, watching the birds and boats pass by. Easy access to local beaches, Cristoffel National Park. Great snorkeling at nearby Klein Knip. Joel was quick to respond to text messages, and he provided great recommendations for local hikes and bird watching. The place was a dream.

Peaceful, secluded space for visiting Western Curaçao

The hosts clearly put effort and care into making this a wonderful space for relaxation and a base for seeing all that the western end of Curaçao has to offer. In a secured, gated community, the small private pool was on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean plus the large deck was perfect for watching the stunning sunsets. Joel and Lisa were friendly, helpful and responsive before and during our stay. Rental car is a must. Would return here - strongly recommend.

Slice of Paradise

We enjoyed our stay. In fact, we looked to book again for next year and its already been booked. Joel was easy to chat with and had plenty of tips to share, even for folks who have stayed in the area before. We loved having the pool, though I worry about slipping with no handrail. Stepping stones to the pool would be helpful so shoes aren't needed. We were comfortable with the beds and furniture. The kitchen was easy to cook in. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, secluded stay.

Beautiful and peaceful

We loved that the house was very comfortable and also very open to nature, in a very undeveloped part of the island. Beaches within a few minutes drive were uncrowded and had great snorkeling. The owner needs to put prominent labels on the light switches, as some were difficult to find - like behind an appliance. It was important to have brought food with us from Willemsted, as the minimarts have very little.

Make a reservation now!!

This property is brand new and beautiful! The owners have thought of everything but if you can imagine an oversight, they would jump to rectify it. The beds are comfy, the showers are awesome. Cook in or follow their restaurant tips. Ask about the best hikes and local beaches and they will direct you to all the local secrets. The West end of the island is a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Make sure you're home to watch the incredible sunsets from the deck on a cliff over the Caribbean. What more could you want?
