"We had a nice time at Lagoon City, an older neighborhood where every place is on a canal (lagoon). Easy walk to a nice beach and the neighborhood was very quiet, so we could hear all of the birds in the morning. Also an easy drive to Mariposa, the festival we were going to in Orillia. Unfortunately the restaurant near the beach was closed, but we ate in when we weren’t at the festival. We did not get a chance to meet the owner, but she reached out to see if we needed anything. "

"The house is huge - the furniture is quite shabby - couches on blocks of wood. Beds are falling apart. Only sheets provided not a single blanket in the house and only a couple of towels. The outdoor area was completely overgrown and the firepit had no usable area to sit around it. The decks were huge. There was no bbq that was usable and the canoe was full of holes. "Great home for a long weekend ice fishing getaway. With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large kitchen and dining room area. The home was perfect for the guys to have a bonding weekend with our kids ice fishing.The home was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep and relaxing after a long day on the ice. "This place is a wonderful suburban jewel, located in a area of new construction, and is easily accessed from Highway 11. We were in town for a concert at Casino Rama and it was only a short drive between. The host was incredibly communicative, and answered questions before we came down, as well as offering support during our stay. The place is very clean and well maintained.
