A welcome pack or food shopping delivery can be organize for your arrival, to minimize going out of the villa. You can safely and privately enjoy your holiday without having to go out.
The villa accommodation is arranged on two levels and has 4 bedrooms, all ensuite.
Outdoors, some steps lead down to the pool terrace and garden which has plenty of room for children to play or just to relaxe on the romantic spaces the garden offers. Villa MonteMar is a recently built villa situated in a private residential area just a 10 minute walk from the centre of the popular holiday destination of Carvoeiro.
Occupying a plot of about a quarter of an acre, with a large lawned area and gardens, and private pool.
There is a choice of beaches just a short drive from the villa, together with a vast selection of bars, restaurants and clubs in Carvoeiro itself.
Within a short drive to Lagoa Health centre (5 minutes) and either Portimão public Hospital (10 minutes) or Alvor private hospital (20 minutes).
Main shopping is at a large supermarket just outside the town.
Golfers can play at two 18-hole courses - Pinta and Gramacho, both only a short drive from the villa.
What more can you wish for a relaxed holiday?
We also wish to inform that The Lagoa Municipal Tourist Tax came into force on 13 April 2024, in accordance with Regulation no. 425/2024, published in Diário da República no. 72 of 12/04/2024.
The tax applies to guests staying at hotels, resorts, tourist apartments, rural tourism developments, campsites and local lodging (AL) establishments, including hostels. The charge is €2 per night during the high season (April to October) and €1 during the rest of the year (November to March) per person, up to a maximum of seven straight nights for all tourists aged 13 or older.
Certain exemptions apply, including guests aged 12 and younger, guests with proved disabilities exceeding 60%, national and foreign students attending the University of the Algarve for up to 60 days straight at the beginning of each academic year, guests staying in Lagoa for medical treatment (including one other person), and guests who have been offered accommodation by a tourist or AL establishment.
Please note that an extra payment for the tourism tax will be added to your reservation after booking the property.
