A unique and charismatic villa located in Lagoa, Casa Bombarda is teeming with off-beat decors and furnishings that guests can use whenever they please. The exterior of this property is nothing short of truly stunning, as seen by the magnificent roof terrace that sits at the very top of this property. This terrace is equipped with a series of seating arrangements, allowing guests to enjoy their evening meals or simply sunbathe in the scorching sun. Guests also have the privilege of experiencing a selection of awe-inspiring panoramic views, which deeply exemplify the true beauty of this entire region.
 
Travelling inside, this property continues to inspire and delight with its use of bohemian style choices. The living area is home to a considerable beige seating arrangement that is also accompanied by a collection of quirky scatter cushions. As such, guests are free to snuggle up on this large sofa whilst they bask in the impeccable range of outdoor views. If you are looking to discover more about the religious legacy of this region, a trip to Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Luz is a perfect way to do so. This spectacular church, which is also known as the Church of Our Lady of Light, was first constructed in the 16th century. However, after the conditions of a devastating earthquake back in 1755, the church was partially destroyed. Luckily, the church was rebuilt and still managed to keep a variety of its original features. Guests are free to explore the interior of this landmark and observe an array of significant and well-preserved artefacts. Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Luz is situated just under 5-minutes away from the centre of the region.
 
This region is also commended for its expressive and expansive wine industry, with the Quinta dos Vales Wine Estate being located around 10-minutes away. This institution also boasts of a fresh and unique tapas menu, giving guests the chance to taste a range of traditional Portuguese cuisines. There is also a collection of indulgent desserts on offer, appeasing every type of sweet tooth. Chrissy’s can be found just a stone’s throw away from the centre of Lagoa and welcomes guests Monday-Saturday from 12 pm till 10 pm.
