"This property is absolutely beautiful, with a running creek that you hear and lush landscape as you look out the front of your pod that is all windows! The pod itself is beautiful as well and so clean, with tiled floors, modern amenities and decor, a fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, stove and sink. You are welcomed with a bottle of wine, fresh water and a snack! The only area that I would say could use a little upgrade would be the mattress. It definitely was ok...

"This home is beautifully decorated and a great highend feel away from home. All of the amenities were great & the home is kept clean. The host was great with communication. My only negative is that the area outside the home has limited dining options other than at small place across the street that closes at 6pm 4 days a week and is more a yummy breakfast or lunch spot (also with kind owners). Also there is no Uber on the island, only Bolt and it's new so it may be hard at times to get drivers...

"Casa do Monte was delightful. The space was perfect for a large group. The location was very accessible to many sights on the island. Out of town and peaceful. Love the balconies in front and back. Our host met us and was very responsive to our needs. "

"My children loved this home. Its lava bricks are amazing. My children were able to experience European living and I had all the modern amenities to use. Awesome little hiking trail close by at Praia de Amora. Highly recommend!"

"The house was well situated and has lots of potential. Our host Claudio was polite, quick to respond, and very helpful. The rooms are a good size, and the house has a good layout. Unfortunately, the beds and pillows were very hard and quite uncomfortable. The outdoor furniture is in need of replacing, the BBQ is rusty and new interior paint would be a good improvement as there is water damage in places and signs of mold in the bathroom and elsewhere. The pictures in the listing are outdated as...

"The property met all of the needs of our multi generational family. Great location easy to walk or drive anywhere we wanted to go to! I would highly recommend this location to anyone travelli ng to Sao Miguel. Easy place to get to from the airport and puts you right in the center of the island. Ribiera Grande is the bees knees!!!!"

"Our visit to Ponta Delgada was very memorable. Pedro met us at the house for check in and his communication was excellent. Pedro surprised us by providing several cold waters, local fruits, beer, wine and juices and snacks for the kids. This was a great surprise especially as we had a day and night of travel. "Gostei do hotel como um todo. Limpeza, presteza, educação do staff e um otimo café da manhã. De ruim: 1) a falta de ganchos para pendurar toalhas, bolsas e outros pertences; 2) o chuveiro é antigo e muito barulhento; 3) escorre muita água do chuveiro para o piso do banheiro; 4) preços acima da média local."

"Ficamos na Suíte de frente para a Marina… vista mais que perfeita! Todos os dias via o nascer do sol com os navios de cruzeiros aportados. O hotel não tem bar nem piscina. Mas a localização, a paisagem frontal compensam. Pois há um Pingo Doce (mercado) bem ao lado do Hotel. Além de restaurantes, cafés e um Centro Comercial. Fica a poucos minutos andando do monumento Portas da Cidade. Excelente quarto, limpeza impecável, frigobar muito bom, cafeteira (com reposição de cápsulas todos os dias), água de cortesia. Banheira de imersão gigante!!!! Equipe super gentil e nos auxiliaram em tudo… inclusive marcando nossos passeios. Único ponto negativo é o café da manhã… muito fraco… poderiam melhorar."
