"We had a wonderful stay here during a Finnish heatwave. It's a beautiful residence which was the home of a famous Finnish author, and is quite charming in its authenticity and spacious nature. It's also perfectly positioned next to Lake Saimaa with a small beach area and a larger dock that can be used for fishing or deeper swimming. The sauna is fantastic - well worth a go, particularly as you can jump straight into the lake after. Also worth praising the host Eeva - she lives on site and will...

"We stayed 3 nights and absolutely enjoyed every second! It was a beautiful scenery and perfect weather:) You can enjoy a swim in the sea after using the sauna. And the host is soo lovely!!!! Absolut recommandation."
