"Lovely cottage with everything you need already thought of. Very cozy and comfortable with plenty room. Beautiful beaches very close by and lovely friendly neighbours. In fact all of the people we spoke to were incredibly welcoming - including the ferry crew. Thanks very much, we hope to come back soon."

"Celebrated a family birthday and it was a perfect size of home for our grown up children, partners and us. Four en-suite bedrooms and plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. A great location for Port Ellen. Support from property manager was great when we needed it. Overall a great find and we would all love to go back and/or transport the house to Glasgow :)"

"Excellent property which has all the amenities, contributing to an outstanding stay. Good communication throughout the booking process, on-going, up to departure. Very clean. Attention to detail throughout the property allowed for a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay in this most gorgeous of villages, Port Charlotte. "Located within view of the Bruichladdich Distillery, at the end of a small Cul de sac with a nice garden and great views. Amenities were as advertised, clean, and generally very well equipped. Perfect bolthole for our short Islay whisky trip for our group of 4 friends. A touch on the small side for 4 large men sharing rooms, but it worked and everything went very smoothly. Key collection was simple, TV, Cooker, Fridge etc... all in working order. A nice welcome pack explained some local...

"No contact from Homeaway regarding getting keys etc. Hours spent on the phone to various "customer service". Found out myself that it was managed by cottages. com. Logged in to their website to find all the information there. Probably spent too much money by booking through Homeaway rather than direct with Cottages. Com. Views were stunning, great location. Lovely gifts upon arrival (best banana cake ever) fresh flowers a lovely touch. Very clean. Missing a couple of things like a bbq and heat...
