"The room was very spacious and bright, with a gas fireplace and sitting area in front of it. The chairs in the seating area were a bit uncomfortable, saggy, so one night we watched the small tv in bed. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower and the whole room was very clean. The mini fridge had a freezer which was appreciated for our freezer packs. "Very quaint in my opinion, almost a bed and breakfast feel. Room was very clean, had a workable desk for my laptop. The Steak & Ale restaurant was very good, I sat at the bar and got a really good burger. It was very busy there when I got there on Friday, seemed like a lot of people at the bar where regulars but they were talkative and friendly.
The only "complaint" I would give is that there is an event room or bar to the left of the check-in desk. It was pretty loud with music, however; it...
