Located in Knowlton, our countryside residence, The 5 Owl, can accommodate up to 12 guests on an intimate 2-acre property.

Treasures within reach
Lac-Brome remains a popular destination for lovers of antiques and retro objects. Within a 13 km radius, there are fourteen of them, including a wind tunnel where the glass artist transforms used bottles into lamps or other objects. During the summer, visit the Antiques and Crafts Market every third Sunday of the months from June to September.

Le présent contrat de location court terme (ci-après: le «contrat») est conclu et prend effet à la date de la confirmation de la réservation par et entre le propriétaire, son représentant ou l’exploitant de la propriété (le «propriétaire») et la personne responsable de la réservation (l’«invité») (ensemble - les «parties»).

Dépôt de sécurité:
Pour les réservations avec Airbnb, veuillez vous référer à leurs politiques de services. Pour les autres plateformes, un dépôt de sécurité pourrait être exigé. Il sera remboursé dans un maximum de 7 jours suivant la fin de votre séjour et après inspection de la propriété. Advenant un bris mineur, un montant équivalent à la valeur du bris ou du dommage sera prélevé si nécessaire.










Responsabilité:
En acceptant les présentes conditions générales, l’invité renonce, libère et accepte de dégager le propriétaire de tous dommages, accidents ou blessures survenu lors du séjour, qui pourraient être liés ou résulté du séjour dans la propriété, et ce, pour lui ainsi que pour tous les visiteurs et personnes associé directement ou indirectement a l’invité présents lors du séjour.


Objets perdus:
L’invité renonce, libère et accepte de dégager le propriétaire de tous bris, perte, disparition ou vol d’objets de valeur ou non, d’argent ou de bijoux appartenant a l’invité ou tous les visiteurs et personnes associés directement ou indirectement à l’invité présent lors du séjour. Dans le cas où un objet oublié serait retrouvé, l'envoi sera au frais de l'invité.


Accès à la propriété
En cas de besoin et avec un préavis raisonnable, l’invité autorise le propriétaire ou toute personne mandatée par ce dernier, à accéder à la propriété pendant le séjour. Dans le cas où une réparation urgente ou un problème devait être réglé rapidement et que vous ne pouvez pas être rejoint, le propriétaire et/ou ses mandataires pourront entrer dans la propriété sans préavis. Vous devez nous aviser immédiatement de toute problématique ou bris dans la propriété.


Température de l’eau du SPA
Tout est mis en place afin que l’eau du SPA soit propre et chaude à votre arrivée. Toutefois, il est possible que pour des raisons sanitaires, le SPA ait dû être vidé et l’eau changée. Il est donc possible, qu’en tout début de séjour, l’eau du SPA ne soit pas tout à fait à la température désirée. En acceptant ces termes, vous acceptez que ceci ne peut constituer un motif raisonnable de réclamation.


Les politiques supplémentaires telles que les tarifs et les frais, l’heure d’arrivée / de départ, les annulations, le séjour minimum, le nombre maximum d’invités autorisés, les feux extérieurs, le dépôt de garantie, etc. seront conformes aux règles de la maison ou aux politiques de réservation fournies séparément par le propriétaire.


Pour des raisons de sécurité et de sûreté, la plupart de nos propriétés sont équipées de caméras extérieures pointées uniquement sur les portes extérieures.


Règles de la maison
1. L’invité accepte de se conformer à toutes les règles, règlements et lois locales.
2. L’invité doit fournir un numéro de téléphone valide ainsi qu’une adresse courriel et être joignable durant les heures normales d’affaires avant le début du séjour.
3. Toute personne qui accompagnera l’invité responsable doit être déclaré avant son arrivée, qu’il séjourne une nuit complète ou non. Vous devez fournir le nom complet de chaque personne, leur numéro de téléphone valide et le lien avec vous. Le nombre de personnes ne doit en aucun cas excéder la limite d’accueil de la maison à moins d’une entente préalablement convenu avec le propriétaire. La réservation doit être faite pour le nombre total de personnes qui vous accompagnera. Aucune personne non déclarée ne devra séjourner dans la maison. L’identité des personnes pourra être vérifiée durant le séjour.
4. L’accès à la propriété ne sera donné qu’à l’invité responsable de la réservation et aux personnes déclarées. De ce fait, il devra fournir une preuve de son identité sur place et avoir en sa possession la carte de crédit utilisée lors de la réservation.
5. L’invité doit se comporter de manière respectueuse et faire preuve de bon voisinage respectant les droits et la quiétude des propriétaires environnants. En cas de plainte, une pénalité de 500 $ sera imposée.
6. Les heures de couvre-feu sont de 23 h à 7 h.

Beautiful Holiday

We loved staying here: we were 2 families with 4 grown children, 4 young adults in their twenties. The house was very spacious, modern and bright with plenty of room for everyone to lounge, cook, hang out on the deck or sit by the pretty pond replete with a couple of in-house frogs. Late evenings, we sat down around the firepit. Close to the town of Knowlton, we could shop, hang out at the beach or easily drive to other nearby towns. Our host was very gracious and responded quickly to our questions and requests. Truly a wonderful place to stay for a French-Canadian vacation.

Little gem in Knowlton

The chalet was perfect for 9 people (4 adults and 5 kids). It was very comfortable and everyone had a bed. Lots of room to move around and the kids could play in the basement. The kitchen is fully equipped. We did not lack a thing. 20 minutes to the ski hill made it perfect for us. The host was very responsive. The chalet was exactly what the pictures and description suggest. Little gem. Would recommend to anyone.

Great!

The place was fantastic, offering comfortable beds in every room and a cozy atmosphere perfect for relaxing, reading, and cooking with a small group. However, there was a minor issue regarding the supplies. We received an email before our arrival stating we wouldn’t need to bring essentials like toilet paper, dish towels, or dish soap. Unfortunately, the house didn’t seem adequately stocked for 8 people staying 4 days. This might have been an oversight by the cleaning team, but it felt a bit disappointing given the significantly higher holiday pricing. That said, it wasn’t a major inconvenience, as there were nearby stores that were easy to access. Overall, it was still a wonderful experience!"
