Cute cottage on the golf course

Enjoy beautiful sunset views from our spacious deck overlooking the #5 green and fairway of the Robert Trent Jones designed Madeline Island Golf Club.
Our cute cottage on the golf course is located on a quiet private lane
Please note: our cottage has satellite Tv in the living room.

Our cottage is 875 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and sleeps 4.
Both bedrooms have new Serta 12 inch memory foam queen size beds
Bathroom #1 has a bathtub with shower. Bath #2 has a shower
Sooth tired muscles with our natural cedar one person sauna and shower unit.
The kitchen is equipped with utensils, pots and pans, dishes and glassware including wine glasses and cocktail glasses.
A coffeemaker, toaster and crockpot are also included.
Make frozen pizzas with our countertop pizza oven
Guests are welcome to enjoy one of the books from our library shelves during your stay.
Enjoy our sun dappled deck furnished with cushions and loungers.
Deck is equipped with a Weber charcoal grill.
In the rare event of rain feel free to move into our gazebo located adjacent to the deck.
No trip to the island is complete without spending time at the Town Park beach. The beach is a beautiful stretch of sand with a breathtaking inland lagoon. We offer our guests the use of our 17 foot canoe. We provide paddles and life jackets for adults and children free of charge. The canoe is racked at the beach. Please be aware that 2 adults are needed to lift and replace the canoe from its rack.

We provide starter supplies of the following:
Paper towels, toilet tissue, bath soap.
We also supply kitchen towels and dish soap.
Bath towels and hand towels are supplied for the number of guests registered.
Please be aware that Wisconsin law does not allow us to provide any consumables including spices and salt and pepper.

Our property is a smoke free property.

A wonderful stay! A little far to be walkable to downtown LaPointe but a very easy drive. Loved the view from the cottage and how comfortable we felt. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed multiple times in this cute cottage. Itā€™s great for us (mom, dad, adult daughter). We especially like how it feels like itā€™s out in the woods but itā€™s also walking distance to LaPointe! Also thereā€™s plenty of shade & nice golf course views.

We had a great time at the cottage. The location on the golf course and just a short bike ride outside of town was perfect. Lots of nice touches like a large deck, 2-story observation tower and cable TV. The place was clean enough but not spotless and could use some additional kitchen supplies and onsite laundry. All in all, a nice place that we would stay at again.

We already want to go back! Everything about this cute cottage was great, the location (close enough to "town" but far enough out to not feel crowded), the relaxed feel inside and the extras that made the stay enjoyable and easy. We had access to a canoe and a sauna. The beds and bedding were comfortable. With small children this place was perfect, we had space to roam but it still had a neighborhood feel.

The property is an excellent size and was easy to locate. The common area is cozy and well appointed. I would have rated the cabin higher if it was clean. It needs a thorough, deep cleaning from top to bottom.

We throughly enjoyed our stay on Madeline Island! The cottage was perfect! Very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed! It is located on a quiet dead end road, yet was only a short few minute drive to town. The 2 story gazebo was such a hit with our 5 year old, and the view of the 5th green of the golf course made it even more of a unique experience! Loved that the cottage had a sauna and a jet tub to relax at the end of the night! It was also not far from the state and town park, about a 10 minute drive or so. I give this property 5 stars, it was the perfect experience!

Madeline Island is a summer home to several members of our family and has been for over a century! Since we no longer own property, renting is the next best thing. We saw many family members and boated around the islands. The stay was wonderful Thank you! My biggest comment/concern is the bathroom floors were not very clean nor were the window openings nor was the deck. The deck furniture could all use major cleaning as well. Iā€™m sorry for the cleanliness report yet I believe itā€™s very important. The cabin is nicely laid out; we all had a good time. How about adding some board games and a variety of card games? Thank you, again, for the stay. We will probably be back next year! Anne and Richard Fritz

The house was great. The view of the golf course is great, and it's fun watching herds of golfers. I think I'm ready to make smart remarks and give bad advice. could use wifi but I wouldn"t not stay because of that as next 4th will be my 3rd yr there. and the sauna is fantstic.

Had a lovely time on Madeleine Island at this property. Due to a packed schedule, we did not get to enjoy the nice porch (or canoeing) as we wouldā€™ve liked but the property was a lovely place, quiet and a very quick trip into the main town area. Entire process was easy (check-in and access). Thanks for a nice stay!
