"We stayed for seven days. It was uncomfortable to only have two forks two spoons. We had to wash every time we ate. It felt like the space had been sitting a while. There were lots of spiderwebs. The fans had a coat of dust on them. That was sickening. This is my first negative review ever! I appreciated the beautiful Patuxent river and the quick response and communication with the owner. "View is great. Beds are comfortable. The sun comes in full on the back deck- which is great for morning coffee. The sun is full on the front deck which is great for sunsets. The full view of the water from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom is wonderful. Of note… the only plates and bowls available for renters are made of melamine which is not suitable for microwaves. Also, the very nice host, William, stays in a camper in the back yard. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this home...

"Our family found this home to be a perfect home base for our stay in Alexandria. We were in town to attend a memorial service for my father at Arlington National Cemetery, and this was the perfect location: a quiet neighborhood, convenient to shopping and restaurants, and only a few minutes to Arlington.
