## Emplacement
La Plagne is a famous winter sports resort located in the Tarentaise valley, in the communes of Aime-la-Plagne, Champagny-en-Vanoise and La Plagne-Tarentaise. Located in the department of Savoie, the site was created in 1961, in its current form.

The resort of La Plagne, which came to the fore when it hosted the bobsleigh and luge events at the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics, is now a popular destination for sports and mountain enthusiasts.
