Enjoy sweeping ocean views from its waterfront terrace, the main bedroom, and the living room allow you to go to sleep and wake up to soothing ocean breezes and the ever-changing sounds of the surf. The terrace creates a beautiful space for indoor/outdoor living with its table and chairs for dining al fresco and comfortable lounge furniture. Tasteful beach décor throughout makes this seaside getaway a perfect place for relaxing, connecting, and recharging - starting with its large, spacious living room with slider access to the oceanfront patio, lots of comfortable seating, and its large TV. Cook and enjoy being together in the large well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar with high-top stools and a seamless flow to the living room and ocean view terrace. A comfortable, well-appointed dining room that seats everyone rounds out this spacious great room.
The ocean view primary suite is next to the living room. It opens up to a furnished terrace and has a TV and a full en suite bath with a shower/tub combination. There are two guest bedrooms in the front of this home – one has a Cal-King bed, a TV, and access to an adjacent fully remodeled bathroom with shower (photos in November). The other bedroom has a queen bed plus a twin bed, a TV, and access to another adjacent fully remodeled bathroom with shower (photos in November). Both of the guest bathrooms have been recently updated with new showers and flooring.

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quiet groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy, and/or parties. We do NOT allow Bachelorette or Bachelor Parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting.
This home has garage parking for one vehicle. Additional parking is available on the street. The parking garage is equipped with surveillance cameras. Perfect beach getaway
Everything about this property was perfect for a reunion with our young adult children — big, comfortable, super clean, well-stocked with kitchenware and beach supplies, literally across the street from the ocean and within walking distance to coffeeshops and restaurants.

Wonderful stay!
Had a great time at this beautiful condo directly across from the beach! We loved the close proximity to the coffee shops and restaurants and didn’t need to use our car most of the time while here. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed and plenty of linens for all. There were beach towels, beach chairs and toys for kids to play with at the beach. We would definitely rent this place again if we were back in the area. We also loved how easy it was to commute with rental company!

Family Retreat
This was a fantastic stay for our family. The condo was the perfect size for 6 adults and an infant. It had all the amenities we required right down to the wagon to haul things back and forth from the garage. The furniture was comfortable and so were the beds, a little high if you’re vertically challenged but very comfy. The views can’t be beat, very happy with our stay.

Luxury and convenience at Windansea
What a great property. Few bits of info missing on the check-in instructions, but the Property Manager called back in moments and took care of everything…. then checked the next day to make sure all was well. Nice little Thanksgiving basket on our arrival. Be aware the bed in primary suite is very very high(unable to use for grandma$ and one of the bathroom doors swings the wrong way (easy fix). Basically perfect place to stay!

Gorgeous view but property needs updating
Ocean views and beach across the street are great and main reason we selected this property. The condo itself needs updating - things are "tired". Also it is located at least 1.5 miles from the real heart of LaJolla and close by restaurants, other than the Taco Shop, are just ok. You need to go into downtown LaJolla for real shopping.

Location 10/10. View from unit 10/10. Size of unit 10/10 – all rooms are large, including the kitchen and bathrooms. Décor and furniture – if you like the sterility/lack of clutter of a hotel you will like this; if you like a VRBO with personality, you will not love this unit. Ease of getting in 1/10 – codes provided were wrong, making for a very difficult entry. Garage 0/10 – impossibly tiny spaces for all units, not just this one. Overall value 6/10. For the price you will pay, you might be surprised to receive a single bath towel per person, 2 bottles of Kirkland water a tiny bag of chips and one package of granola bars as your “welcome”, light bulbs that don’t work and are not replaced during your stay even days after you let the property mgt company know because “those bulbs are specialty”, very limited dishware and silverware, etc. The place is being run for the highest profit margin for the property managers and it shows. We are a family of five adults who have stayed at many, many high-end VRBOs and this management company was especially cheap and it reflects poorly on the owner.

Fantastic stay at Windansea
Spent a week on a family vacation during spring break and it was simply perfect. Cannot beat the view. Unit is in a very quiet building and although this is a popular beach/surf spot, the neighborhood itself was also quiet. The apartment was clean and in great shape. Host/property manager was very attentive and good about checking in to see how things were going. For example, after letting them know that we would be arriving late, they followed up the next morning to make sure everything went ok. Then on our second day, there was a small earthquake. They again checked in to make sure all was well.Location is convenient to "downtown" La Jolla, and getting to/from I-5 is easy enough. Again, a fantastic stay and if we're ever back in the SD area, would definitely stay here again.
