Reception was welcoming and friendly. I was allowed to borrow an umbrella walking in the rain while visiting a nearby hot springs. Breakfast was good, even though I missed one day due to leaving too early for a tour. My room was clean, but a bit worn and needs updating. I was unaware that I would be placed in a room (#3) next to an unoccupied one going through construction because the work went on until nearly 8 pm on the first evening I stayed. It was unpleasant, especially trying to rest after a long day out on tour. The shower did not have hot water at all, so both nights, I took cold showers. For this reason alone, I may not stay at this property again. If they update their rooms in the near future, I will reconsider. I also requested that my room not be serviced until after check out, but noticed housekeeping entered, anyway. The room rates were reasonable, and the wildlife around property as well as the view of Arenal Volcano were wonderful. Those were the highlights of my stay as well as the friendliness of staff. I would have given a much lower rating on this property had I been completely unsatisfied.

Smaller budget friendly resort with hot springs
Very nice staff. Small grounds with great views of Volcano. Boutique size place, maybe only 10 rooms and nice but small pool deck and 4 hot springs. Great breakfast, very convenient in and out location with a car. Not a fancy big resort place but was absolutely fine and budget friendly, would recommend no problem. Other "grand" volcano hot spring resorts were actually sold out so I picked this one and was very happy, and was lower cost overall with a great breakfast and very friendly staff. No restaurant for evening meals FYI. Not that kind of resort place. I liked the larger hot spring by the bar with music playing and in the sun with a view of the volcano, I spent an afternoon hanging out there in the spring and talking to people, looking at the volcano and getting drinks from the bar.

I appreciated the owner's willingness to give a refund, they are very kind. The property is pretty dingy for this pricepoint. I had to sweep and clean when we arrived. There wasn't hardly any items needed to be able to cook in the kitchen.

No hot water, no WIFI in the rooms, rude staff and they messed up our activity bookings. Every day breakfast was almost the same with long waiting despite telling them in advance of activity pickup times. Staff is only there between 7am and 9 pm and the room and the hotel has no lockers. The pools close by 9 pm also. Rooms were not sound proof, could hear everything from next room and repairs on the property started early in the morning with contractors talking loudly the whole time.

Hemos terminado con estoy y tenemos WiFi y agua valiente en todas las habitaciones Esperamos poder compensarte de alguna manera ya que por el contrario nos apasiona el servicio y provocar buenas experiencias a nuestros huéspedes

This property is not worth the money. It is as same as any motel service. No proper check in, no chafer service, rooms are dirty, breakfast served late, not a good breakfast. Overall, I would not pay hefty amount that they are charging for, it is worthless.

Hola, lamentamos mucho que tengas esta lamentable experiencia después tu visita. El check in en la madrugada no es un servicio que ofrecemos. Nuestra recepción ofrece servicio de 7am a 9 pm Y te ayudamos a ingresar luego de las 12 media noche. También entendemos el horario del desayuno de 7:30 a 9:30 am no sea suficientemente temprano si deseas hacer actividades a las 6 am Nuestro hotel cuenta con 4 hermosas piscinas termales y cómodas habitaciones por valor con desayuno incluido al 50% de cualquier otro hotel con termales en la zona. Por lo que estamos seguros cobramos lo más justo para la propiedad

Todo pésimo. La app indica el check in a las 10am y me dieron la habitación a las 3:00pm ( publicidad engañosa), las camas no tenían cobija, el día de hoy 2ue estaba hospedada las piscinas con agua termal estaban vacías. El desayuno una muy mala puntuación, y el trato no fue del todo gentil.

Hola Karol lamento muchísimo que te sientas así que pena .No puedo más si no perdía disculpas. Por otra parte claro aclarar que el app no dice check in habitación 10 amDice que tienes ingreso al hotel a las 10 am para disfrutar de las aguas termales y facilidades. El ingreso es a las 3pm a las habitaciones, casi siempre se entrega antes cómo fue en tu caso. Pero este depende de la salida de los clientes que siempre pedimos sea q las 12. Con respecto a las termales hoy. Tienes toda la razón, se nos dañó una bomba y estábamos trabajando a un 50% de capacidad . Lo siento mucho y te rogamos acercarte a recepción donde con guste estaremos felices de compensarte de alguna manera y claro que te llevaremos cobijas extras

the worse hotel ever stay away
we booked the hotel for four days and left after the first night...this is the picture of false advertising ..the room is very dirty and old...the shower head it was electric with tapes all around shutting water all over ..the sheets was smelling very bad ...no internet whatsoever . the breakfast was a joke...they should be ashamed of calling that a hotel...you should look elsewhere ...terrible experience....
