"Horrible! The house is very old and the sanitary services where very poor. The house is in for a massive renovation, don't expect the stuff in the house to work properly. we stayed with 34p. Upon arrival, there was a problem with the plumbing, we coudn't use the toilet or showers for 3 days! if we did use is the water leaked into the dining area... the owner did help us after several complaints, but first had to try and blame us for the problems... we paid 15.250euro for the chalet. While I had a hard time knowing where to park, once I got to the reception area staff provided the pass for free parking and gave me instructions on how to reach the appropriate lot. Location is exceptionally good. The hotel itself is quiet but I could not put that in the rating because the night I was there, there was loud music two blocks away that went on until 23h on a Thursday night. "The place is a large farmhouse, 1000 years ago it was used by farming monks. 15 minutes from Barcelonette and everything the Ubaye valley and the Mercantour have to offer (We're hikers, but folks come here to bike or drive their Porsches on mountain roads too). Diane and Frederic are wonderful and attentive hosts and the home made breakfast will definitely make you come for more."
