The rooms are spacious and clean, and although the balconies are small, they do provide a lovely view. The solarium area and sunbathing spaces are ample and both pools were refreshing. The pool bar has lots of options and a nice food menu. Overall, having stayed in 5 or 6 hotels in the vicinity, Hotel Alay has proved to be my favourite and actually great value for money...

"The apartments are well furnished well located with good services like the restaurant and bar. I stayed a couple of years ago and returned because i really liked the family-like environment. Two key things to improve: the pillows are simply terrible; and no recycling facilities at all in the hotel. This is unacceptable nowadays. Torremolinos has a big waste problem, trash on the street (and beach), containers full... Hotels have the responsibility to help. "

"As a straight couple in a LGBT hotel we found ourselves pretty happy with the experience and would recommend the hotel in a heartbeat. It was very clean and very pleasant. The only side note was that our code for the Wi-Fi stopped working in the second day of our trip but as we weren't in the hotel much we didn't bother to tell them as I'm pretty sure they would resolve it that second. The no children thing is also a big plus for us, we really don't want to hear children crying and screaming all...
