The property was completely unacceptable!
There was trash and garbage all over the yard & inside of the house. The pool was full of scorpions, insects, leaves, & grass. There were wasp nests all around the eaves of the house but primarily active nests at the front & back doors. A dead rotting skunk carcass in the yard & that stunk terribly only feet away from where we wanted to have the rehearsal dinner outside underneath the lights in the backyard. No towels and no soap. The wood floor was so filthy you could see our footprints in the dust. The kitchen countertops had food and dried liquids all over them. Our shoes stuck to the kitchen tile floor. The air conditioner intake & filters were filthy. The back porch with spider webs, dead bugs, layers of dirt on the chairs and cushions. 3 of the beds were missing sheets. The chandelier over the dining table was covered in spider webs. The whole front porch, swings & cushions had layers of dirt and bird poop on them. The wicker swing in the tree was a safety hazard. On Saturday, knowing that our family (10 adults, three children under the age of three could not live in the current situation) and guests were going to be there that afternoon and expected the rehearsal dinner, we worked crazy hard to make the house presentable. No willingness of the owner or the property assistant manager to work with us for a solution to get it cleaned.
