A condo was very clean! The kitchen was well stocked. The views from the balcony were spectacular!!! The location was spectacular. As a matter of fact, I don't have much of anything bad to say about this experience. We will probably be coming back to this condo again.

Anniversary

We went down for our wedding anniversary with another couple and the location and condo was perfect! Right on the beach, close by the outdoor pool, etc. We couldnā€™t have asked for a better stay or location for our trip. Owner/property manager was super easy to work with as well!

The views and beach are amazing! Location was perfect and right on the water! The place needs renovated and especially the master bathroom. Being on the beach it would have been nice to have beach towels to use and the beach chairs they had were really old, so we didnā€™t use them.

Great property

We've stayed in other condos at this property for decades - love the proximity to Fort Fisher along with how close we can sleep close to the waves and the ocean breeze. We like this particular property because it's an end unit, has a newly refurbished kitchen along with LVT flooring. VRBO turned out to be very easy to use, everything was handled seamlessly. The bathrooms haven't been redone - but that's a small thing.

Overall stay was very nice the shower heads could use replacement. The sensor on the liveing room door the connects to the havc was hanging on sideways when we arrived and not reading easy fix with a hair bow lol and there was trash and candy wrappers under the cushions but the over all experience was great

Terrible, horrible nightmare experience at this property.

This would have been my third experience vacationing at Kure Beach through Vrbo within the past year. The first two were wonderful, enjoyable, ā€œcanā€™t wait to returnā€ type vacations! This recent experience with the owner of the property was an absolute nightmare and I will never go back to his very neglected property again!The refrigerator didnā€™t work from the first day of our stay. Reaching out to the owner who was rude, insulting and always needed to have the last word, telling us essentially, that we would not have a functional refrigerator until the day we were leaving his property. So we vacated this property the first day of our vacation.The unit smelled of mold upon entering. There was actual mold around the dirty bathtub and the bedrooms and bathrooms were pretty nasty, not like the pictures of the bathrooms and bedrooms shown in the ad prompting us to choose this place. I have photos of this place of everything that made our stay there so unlike our previous stays at Kure Beach, NC through Vrbo.

Lovely location

It is a beautiful location. Beach was amazing, even in December/January. Very close to Aquarium and great trails. We were extremely disappointed that the indoor pool and hot tub were not open and were a seven minute walk away. We walked all the way there to find it closed. We specifically made the reservation because of those features and feel deceived. The listing did not explain accurately and I had emailed to ensure it would be available to us. Also, when we arrived, we had not been sent the code to enter and had to call several time, waiting 30 minutes. We won't reserve again although the place itself was lovely.

Disappointed in Maintenance

This is the same property that we rented in back in 2022. I left messages with the management company at that time that the toilet was running in the master bedroom and that the drywall needed repair in a few places in the home. This time the same issues were present and an issue with ants. This leads me to believe that some one is not paying attention to these reviews or someone does not care about the feedback of customers.

The property has a great location and overall is good. Needs to have some maintenance done. Water stains on ceiling in master bathroom as well as closet. Air vents were very rusty. Couldnā€™t access the Spectrum TV in living room. End of season so carpets need to be cleaned. Nice kitchen and living area

Great location

We arrived at the condo a little after check in time. Code to door didn't work. It was 95 degrees out and we had two littles and refrigerated items. Finally after talking to VRBO 15 min they had the owner call us. We went through several passcodes to no avail, finally he gave us one that worked. He was very nice, gave me his direct number and answered when I called later. The guest bed sags in the middle, no spatula and other necessities in kitchen, needs pots, pans, casserole dishes, strainer, large pot, only has, one small pot, one pan, one casserole dish and 8 pot tops. Place was very clean,. Living room furniture new but not comfortable.
