Walk just steps to spend the day by the waves, or soak up the sun at the on-site pool. Highlights include an oceanfront balcony, stunning coastal views, and a modern interior with new appliances and furnishings throughout.

The Fort Fisher walking trail and State Historic Site being at a small beach to the side of the property. After a fun-filled beach day, unwind in the stylish living area, furnished with a sofa and two armchairs. Watch a new movie on the cable TV. Home chefs will appreciate the upscale kitchen, equipped with a full suite of appliances. Sip morning coffee at the kitchen bar, outfitted with seating for three. When your culinary creations are complete, dine together at the table set for four. Take in spectacular ocean views from the covered beachfront balcony, outfitted with seating for four at the table. Soak up the sun by the unheated complex pool , open from Memorial Day through September. Shared charcoal grills are available near the parking area.

This is the most southernmost condo on Pleasure Island with unobstructed views of both the Atlantic and Fort Fisher State Park. This condo was very comfortable, and the location at the end of the Kure Beach strip was great was perfect for us (two older adults). Walkway to Ft. Fisher was steps away, as was a small area of beach. The walkway also led to a wide beach further up. Beautiful view from our side of the building (see photo). The balcony was so comfortable and close to the ocean, it was like sitting on the beach except cooler and less sandy!Although the condo has a great bunkbed setup, not sure the location would appeal to people with small children. The ocean comes right up to the building, and the beach to the left of the building is fairly narrow and eroded. Big rocks all along it.Was less than impressed with Vacasa. Despite the many emails and texts, our key code didn't work, the router and other electronics were unplugged and difficult to reassemble, the wi-fi name and password were wrong, and the parking pass wasn't where it was supposed to be. We got prompt assistance when we called about each of these issues; however, checkout instructions sent on the last day contradicted what had been sent earlier and what was posted. I couldn't get a response from customer service until 1.5 hours after we checked out (Sunday). We ended up doing more "chores" than we needed to.Despite that, we'd come back just because of the sweet condo and the great location.

Peace and Quiet at Island's End

This unit is one of three ocean-front at the southernmost end of Pleasure Island, and staying here was lovely. The building is steps away from the beginning of Ft. Fisher state park, so you don't have neighbors to the right. It also pushes the boundaries of "ocean-front", as high tide nearly touches the building foundations. If you love the sound of the surf, you'll be happy here.I was there in the off-season, so the quiet I had probably isn't the case during the summer, but the condo complex wasn't overwhelming large.The unit itself is on the older side, but it's clearly been recently updated and decorated so it's very comfortable and just pleasant to wake up in. Check-in was very easy, no problems, and everything was clean and tidy when I arrived.I wish I could have stayed longer!

Kure Beach "The Last House On The Left" away from the hustle and bustle of Carolina Beach so quiet with views you only dream about. Back home now and I can still hear the waves crashing ashore.

Kure Beach

This was a great vacation and location. The room was very clean, except the foul odor coming from the bathroom. The hefty amount of deodorizers helped, but definitely still a stink in the bathroom like a sewage problem. Only other complaint is we had to sleep in the bunk beds because the main bed was uncomfortable and the metal frame squeaked with the slightest movement. Even so, still a very peaceful and relaxing vacation and beautiful room and views. The issues arenā€™t enough to keep us away, weā€™ll be back next year!

Great!

Location was everything, we spent time on Ft. Fisher glorious beach, took our 4x4 Jeep for $20 on wide, 4 mile long empty beach! Fascinating turtle hatching areas too. Carolina Beach a few miles North for restaurants, Publix, saw the 9:00pm fireworks show Thursday. Took ferry to Southport and the Aquarium was right there too. Next trip we will bike over to Bald Head Island. We canā€™t wait to come back. This was the perfect location for our needs, we fell in love with Kure!!!

Great ocean view

This property was a great find. Very clean, definitely on quiet end of beach, and very comfortable. Regret Mother Nature hasnā€™t left much beach to enjoy which is okay for those like us on the beach for the view. Definitely a go-over a rating from me which is hard to get.

Sunrises and Crashing Waves

Unbelievable sunrises...every morning. The sound of the ocean 24/7 is so relaxing. The location is excellent, right next to the Fort Fisher Civil War historical site, made for some very nice morning walks on the beach. It had everything we needed for a very nice vacation.

Wave sound therapy

This building is so close to the water it has sandbags to protect it from high tide and storms. The result is the most amazing views and wave sounds ever. Very relaxing.
