"Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat is a hidden sanctuary. We hit the jackpot when we were searching for accommodation in the area to attend a wedding. Its location is nothing short of spectacular and the 360 views are breathtaking. Hosts Craig and Paul were so warm and welcoming, and a wealth of knowledge about the local area. "From campsites, old feel cabins to superior rooms it doesn’t really matter! The surroundings, the bird and wildlife are amazing!! The staff superior, friendly and from all parts of the world. We would comeback in an instant! If I could give the staff 11 out of 10 I would. "

"Well-appointed, comfortable cabin in a lovely setting. Interior is spacious with kitchen area separated from living area and bedroom. Bathroom is a bit cramped with cabinet overshadowing the sink. Furnishings are in excellent condition and comfortable. Interesting art work on the walls. "

"It was fantastic, excellent communication, flawless keyless check-in and entry. Absolutely so clean. Shower water pressure was amazing. Room small, but tasteful and everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Shower was big. Netflix, Wifi all good. Great BBQ area. Definitely would stay again. "

"Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. "
