"The River House is a beautiful property. It is a gorgeous log home with the Susquehanna River as the backyard. The home was very clean and comfortable. The entire property is calm and relaxing. My husband was able to fish right on the river bank which was one of the main reasons for this trip. We also enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely return for a stay in the fall. Thank you!"

"This is our 2nd stay at Duncan's Den and it won't be our last! This cabin has everything you would want or need for a relaxing vacation. From the welcome bottle of wine to the well stocked coffee bar, this house has it all! We love to sit on the porch and listen to the creek and watch the horse and buggies go by. My husband caught some nice small mouth bass in the creek. Clean, comfortable and A plus hosts. Thank you, Mary and Bill, for another perfect stay."

"I grew up in Shamokin so I understand most of the homes are historically old and many are row houses. The host does a wonderful job of making the home feel welcoming. Loved the decor and fun layout. The bathroom is large and clean with great water pressure; that's always a bonus. ;)"

"What a fantastic place to stay if you are looking to get a feel for life in Lewisburg/Bucknell. The house is located in an area surrounded by professors' houses. People were very friendly and told us many interesting things about the area. It is walkable to many places so you can leave your car and wander. "If you are looking for a quite stay at a wonderful little fishing cabin. This is it. The house was spotless and yard was freshly cut. While I spent some time fishing.The kids decided to take a quick soak in the hot tub. And Bill and Mary are fantastic hosts! For the fishermen - It's s great stream to fish. Bring gear for trout and smallmouth bass. Recommend metal studs for anyone wading. The stream has a rocky and slick bottom. Good luck!"

"Our family had a wonderful at this beautiful log cabin. Very cozy and quiet. We had three children with us and they enjoyed the large front yard and playhouse. The real hit for them was the hot tub! Our host Cory was great. We appreciated his responsiveness and flexibility. I would highly recommend this cabin."

"Matt warmly welcomed us to this spacious, immaculately maintained, beautiful riverside property. Everything we needed was provided. The modern kitchen was generously stocked. There were delightful towels and more in updated bathrooms plus comfy linens and beds, We enjoyed games for all ages, excellent wifi, and so much more. Walking and playing on the grounds in autumn air refreshed us. We highly recommend!"

"This place is great! Easy check in and check out process. Fish rising to bugs right in the yard. I literally pulled in and within a couple of minutes I was hooked up on a fish. And while nothing is very close out that way, the house is close enough to some good eating and more importantly great fishing. It was the perfect setup for a small group of anglers that spend a few days fishing the central pa region."
