"It was an incredible experience to live alone in an abandoned village in Mani. You feel far away from everything and it is a nice feeling. The nearest beach is about 25 minutes driving. The house is always fresh downstairs in the main bedroom. For the persons who like to hike, unfortunately, a fire occured in august 2021 so it is not very pleasant to walk in the countryside around. "We spent a week at the Mani House in August, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The house was far more stylish, elegant, spacious and comfortable that we had imagined. It is beautifully built, and immaculately maintained. I am surprised that it has anything less than five-star reviews. The pictures do not do justice to the interior, or even to the views. "We spent a week at Olive Press and had a fantastic time - Tina and Michael were super helpful with advice of where to go and what to do and generally looking after us whenever we needed anything. We are a family with three teenagers and everyone loved the house and the pool as well as the nearby beaches and walks. Not to mention the tavernas and lovely food. Recommend strongly to go to Elia’s taverna in Agios Nicolaos as well."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this home. It was a slice of paradise. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. We were allowed to go into the house early and leave late. The Mani area is just such a beautiful region of Greece and this was the perfect place to base ourselves as we discovered and experience it all.
