"The couple running the place were helpful with any requests such as towels etc. The room itself is very small with an air conditioning unit that is set to arctic with no ability to change the temperature, the shower has no closure so the small bathroom is wet and the floor gets dirty very easily with no way to clean it (possibly may have been dirty to start with) Location is great, right next to the main street"

"The room was really clean and modern. Great Smart TV with all the Apps like Netflix, YouTube etc Had a good little fridge and a microwave (I was surprised how many didn’t) . Really big shower with great pressure, so I felt washed ! Close to the Taree Service Centre as in 5 min drive. Beautiful rural setting, so quiet. This place was a real gem really close to the M1. I found myself another great motel between Sydney and Brisbane, well worth the stop."

"One of the best in Taree. I've stayed at a few properties in Taree for work in 2026 so far. Hands down the most luxurious and cleanest. The couple running it are lovely and go above and beyond. Everything was spotless. Clean linen, clean frigde, clean utensils, clean floor and more. It was immaculate. I especially loved the back outside area along the garden as an extra space to relax. "Forster Palms was a great place to stay - easy parking, clean pool & surrounds. The room itself was well-laid out, and although a little dated, was very clean & had everything we needed for a short stay! The vouchers & temp membership to the Club next door were much appreciated, & the dining options at the Club were good too. Recommend for short stays! "

"The shower was hot with great pressure. The bed was comfortable. Everything very clean. The spa bath was amazing. Only a couple of things negative. There was nowhere to hang my dress. No hooks or hanging rail. The pillows were a bit lumpy so I suggest byo pillow. Also we couldnt sign into our netflix becauae it said the device was only compatible with premium and we don't have premium. So only had normal tv to watch. Everything else was great."

I understand older style motels, but there's no excuse for the level of filth here, old can still be clean, and this absolutely wasn't. The room clearly hasn't had a proper clean in a long time. There was heavy build up of grime and dust around the base of the toilet, and the shower hadn't been cleaned at all, hair throughout the recess and visible grime in the grout. "The room was great, very spacious, staff were very friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was excellent (had lunch and breakfast twice). Easy parking. Walking trail nearby and excellent swimming at the beach opposite. "
