"The property was well kept and the adjacent beach was a draw for beginner surfers. It wasn’t flat so not a lot of area to spread out chairs. You need to be aware that each unit is different. Ours was carpeted which was unusual for a beach property. There was no AC in the unit (standard at this resort) and it was quite humid at the end of September. We requested a box fan for the room which was a life saver. Our unit did not have any grilling tools for the Barbq and there were no xtras to borrow...

"Could not have asked for a better location. We will miss the view: catching sight of turtles while having dinner, seeing the surfers wipe out, and of course, the gorgeous sunsets. My only minor gripe would be to have an actual human being we could talk to when we have questions. iI sounded like the Vacasa management group was responding with AI, and they gave us incorrect information about the property amenities."

"My Mom who is a resident of Kauai highly recommended that we stay at the Kiahuna Planatation as it is a perfect location for families and a hidden Oasis. "This property is in such an ideal location for south island activities and food. Many great beaches within just a few minute drive and great food even closer. The unit included may of the necessary beach things you would want like chairs and a cooler. The only thing that wasn’t there was a beach umbrella which we were able to rent locally. AC kept the unit comfortable. Easy parking even with them resurfacing the lot while we were there. We would definitely stay here again. "
