"I spent 6 nights at Rattana Guesthouse in June 2026. It was very peaceful and restful, As I had been just previously 2 weeks on holiday on another continent on a hectic schedule, I found Rattana the perfect place to relax and enjoy the no-rush half of my holiday. The staff were very polite and friendly and the main host (I've forgotten her name!) was very helpful and has a good to excellent level of English that made the experience easier for me as I've only learned a few simple words of Thai....

"We stayed in a beachfront villa and had a wonderful time. The staff are fantastic, especially Carl who was very friendly and gave us lots of tips about local spots. The views are amazing, the sea is lovely. We were DeLiGtHtEd by the incredible food!! The tom kha gai and mango sticky rice were standouts. We are already looking forward to visiting again in future. "The entrance has a lot of mud sometimes. The room is ok, you get what you paid for. They have dogs, and these bark at people and sometimes even try to bite. Nothing against dogs, I love dogs but they should try to control them a bit. I'd nobody of them is around and you cross that area they start barking and try to bite, that is no good . "Excellent central location, quiet and friendly. Extended initial stay as it suited us so well. Need to be aware of multi storey buildings with no lifts (specify ground floor if needed) and showers over solid baths which need careful negotiating. Only negative is the WiFi disconnecting regularly - a minor annoyance."
