HIDEAWAY VILLA is an elegant, tropical style villa located in the unspoiled south of Koh Samui, just 150 mtrs from Laem Set beach. It is the perfect romantic and exotic getaway for couples.

The Villa has lovely salt water Swimming Pool and an attractive wrap around Lotus Pond filled with carp, catfish and turtles.

Complimentary personal transfers from the Airport, ferry arrival or your accommodation on the island is provided to Hideaway Villa and a return journey.

Fully fitted Kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, gas hob, toaster, microwave, blender, kettle, coffee maker and washing machine, etc. French doors lead from the Kitchen to an attractive, small garden patio.

Lovely, spacious double Bedroom has air conditioning, large overhead fan, fitted wardrobes and king size double bed. French doors open out to the decking and salt water swimming pool.

Tropical style Bathroom with a terrazzo large bath tub, separate walk in shower and vanity unit. The bathroom has been beautifully created within surrounding lush tropical greenery to give a unique tropical ambiance.

Salt water swimming pool, where you can take a few steps out from both the Living room or Bedroom, with their french double doors, onto the sun deck and straight into the pool. On the sun deck you have a garden table, chairs and large parasol, together with sun beds. A gas barbecue is located by the poolside where you can cook fresh meat or fish purchased from the local market or stores.

Around the pool are lush tropical plants and flowers, together with wrap around Lotus Pond filled with colourful carp, catfish and turtles. Guests often love to give the fish and turtles their feed whilst staying at the villa with the fish food that we provide.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service:

All towels and linen provided. The villa is cleaned after every 3 nights, with change of clean bed linen and towels also after every 3 nights. Small bottle of shower gel and shampoo provided for the first night.

Located in the charming area of Laem Set, Hideaway Villa is only 150 meters to a local secluded beach and a 5 min drive to many fine Thai restaurants serving both delicious Thai and Western cuisine. You will discover coffee shops, Thai massage shops, individual shops, local travel agencies and taxi services.

The best way to get around is the use of a car or moped. We can assist you with the hire of these vehicles.

All our cars are insured, with the guest being responsible, and limited, for the first 20,000 Baht of any damage. There is no insurance on mopeds where the guest pays for any damage incurred.

It is the guests' responsibility to ensure that they also have their own comprehensive Travel & Health Insurance, and appropriate driving documentation for Thailand.

All our vehicles will have a full tank of petrol for you. Please ensure that you return the vehicle at the end of your stay with a full tank.

No ‘off-roading’ or driving in harsh terrain. The rental car is not to be driven off the island.

Please note that no additional guests other than those who have booked to stay at the villa, are permitted to stay overnight.

Neighbourhood description:

Local Laem Set beach, less than a 5 min walk from Hideaway Villa, is a lovely natural area. It has mangroves, palm trees and sandy beach, retaining a tranquil and peaceful charm. The water is shallow for swimming and it is not a touristy beach with lots of attractions. This can hold an appeal where you will not find crowds of people and hawkers. Enjoy a quiet massage on the beach in front of the clear waters, or have a drink at the Hotel bar on the beach. On the beach you will also find the local and popular Cool Bar which serves drinks and delicious food.

About a 5 min walk from the villa is Centara Villas Resort which opens its doors to non residents and have many facilities to enjoy, including smart restaurants and bars.

Five minutes away by motorbike or car you have the fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon where fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are sold daily at the local market. There are also many local shops here, together with doctor's surgery, restaurants and a Chinese temple.

Amphoe Ko Samui Stadium, only a 5 min drive away, is home to many popular sports events, where visitors can come to watch the activities. It is located in an attractive area, surrounded by a lake/reservoir where there is a football field, basketball etc and you can also walk around or jog with lots of shade. Also outdoor fitness park with brightly coloured exercise equipment which is free to use.

Just a 10 min drive away by motorbike or car is Lamai Beach. This has a long expansive beach and caters far more for tourists with restaurants, bars, water sports and other attractions.

The seaside town of Lamai, the second largest on the island and superior to the congested Chaweng, is where you can fine dine in one of the many beach side restaurants, shop, or just relax in one of the many watering holes Lamai has to offer and watch the world go by.

There is still the feel here in the south on Koh Samui of over 20 years ago, unlike the busier north of the island. We are frequently told by guests they find the Thai people in this southern part of the island extremely hospitable, and welcoming. In the north where it is far more crowded and touristy on the island there is not always the opportunity to discover the true warmth and charm of the local people.
