Urban Cabin-Themed Duplex ⫸ Walk to Happy Holler
Enjoy Knoxville in this cozy cabin themed duplex within walking distance of Historic Happy Holler. 1/2 mile down N Central Ave to Food truck parks, Breweries and Restaurants, and 1 mile from Downtown Knoxville.
The home is thoughtfully designed for guests seeking an East TN experience while staying in close proximity to Downtown Knoxville.
Key travel amenities include high speed internet, oversized deskspace with computer monitor, Washer/dryer, smart TV, and outdoor picnic area with grill.
This is only a limited listing and currently open to guests seeking a discounted mid-term stay while renovations are going on at the house next door. The home is fully functional, we just feel that it is better suited for longer-term guests that may not be bothered by potential noise from workers at the house next door. We will be available for shorter term stays at a later date.
The home is made of up 2 (1br/1ba) apartments, each themed with a classic East TN flair as a nod to the Smoky Mountains (just 45 minutes away).
Ideally setup for 1-2 people in town for a quick visit, or longer term stays that are needing work amenities as well as convenience to downtown Knoxville. However, there is an air mattress available for groups of 3-4 if you have additional guests.
We will be sure to give guests their space, but professional management provided by Halo Hospitality should any issues arise during your stay.
We will also be on-site regularly overseeing the renovation at the house next door.
Historic Happy Holler is home to several shops, restaurants, pubs, and venues, and grocery, serving as a hub for North Knoxville Residents.
The City of Knoxville has made incredible improvements to N Central street including sidewalks leading all the way downtown, street scaping, and on-street parking in several areas.
The house itself is not in a neighborhood, but rather directly on N Central street next to other businesses. This does provide some convenience, but does not offer the neighborhood feel should that be important to guests.
Guests can easily walk to Happy Holler, and most can walk (0.5 mile) to Food Truck park, Breweries, Coffee Shops, and more businesses along N Central. If going further downtown, we would recommend a bike, or $5 Uber ride! Welcome to Halo Hospitality! Halo Hospitality’s Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions apply. Upon booking, the renter will receive the Terms and Conditions and agree to review and sign. These terms will include, but are not limited to, the following:
GUEST VERIFICATION Experienced guests with 5 or more positive reviews may request to be waived from this process, otherwise we do require all guests to complete an additional verification screen through our Guest Portal to ensure the safety and security of our community. This 60-second verification process must be completed within 48 hours of booking, or at least 2 hours prior to the check-in time if booking on the same day as check-in. You will be prompted to complete this process immediately after booking. This includes:
1) Providing a copy of your government-issued photo ID. 2) Photo Verification 3) Confirming your contact information & agreement to our Rental Terms and Conditions
Guests who have questions about this process are encouraged to reach out prior to booking! The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes. We thank you for your cooperation. Guests who fail to complete our verification process within 48 hours of booking may be subject to cancellation.
HOUSE RULES 1) Guest Count: Please include the correct number of guests in your booking. Visitors outside the reservation are permitted under most circumstances, but we do require guests to request permission prior to having visitors. 2) Check-in: Please notify us once you have accessed the property. Please inspect and report any unsatisfactory conditions within 2 hours of check-in. Non-urgent issues reported after 9:00 pm will be promptly addressed the next day. 3) Noise Policy: Keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM to respect our neighbors and local community. We will contact you directly for any reported disturbances, prior to reporting any nuisances with local authorities. 4) Non-Smoking Policy: Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are not permitted within the property. Any violation, will result in a smoke remediation fee. 5) No Parties: Events and parties are strictly prohibited to maintain a peaceful environment. We will contact you directly for any disturbances, prior to reporting any nuisances to local authorities. 6) Pets: We love our Pets! but they are not allowed in most units, ensuring a clean and allergen-free space for all guests. a.If the property is labeled as “Pet-friendly”, pet’s are allowed at a charge, up to a capped limit. The Pet Fee will be requested after booking via the resolution center, and is paid separately from the reservation. 7) Damage Policy: Any damage caused during your stay will incur repair costs plus a labor charge. A Wear & Tear fee will be applied for any rule violations related to pets, smoking, or parties. 8) Checkout: Before checking out, please place trash in trash cans, start the dishwasher with used dishes, and begin a wash cycle for used towels. Security: Ensure all doors and windows are securely locked when not present. 9) Age: Guests must be 25 years or older to make a reservation.
Failure to comply with any of these policies may result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation without refund.
CANCELLATIONS We adhere to the cancellation policy as outlined at the time of booking. Please note, exceptions due to illness, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances are not covered unless stated otherwise. Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking to cover unforeseen events. Requests for cancellation outside of this policy will be directed to your travel insurance provider.
EARLY CHECK-IN'S & LATE CHECKOUT REQUESTS 1) Early Check-ins: We are unable to guarantee an early check-in will be possible in advance due to cleaning scheduling. However, on the day of your check-in we will notify you as soon as the property is available & there is no fee for an early check-in. Early check-in requests will be submitted to our team, but please do not expect a response until the day of check-in.
2) Late Checkouts: Are available on a case-by-case basis, depending on the property and cleaning schedule. Requests should be made at least 12 hours in advance of your check-out, and are subject to approval of our cleaning team, which may not be able to respond until the morning of your scheduled departure. We do have a late checkout fee. This fee is paid through the Resolution Center.
POLICY VIOLATIONS 1) Late check-out without prior approval will be charged per hour. We may remove occupants and their belongings from the property if unresponsive, or uncooperative. 2) Excessive Cleaning will be charged per hour. We will provide proper documentation and photo evidence of excessive cleaning required. This will be applied towards unexpected cleanup of spills, stains, bodily fluids, biohazardous materials, odor remediation, etc. 3) Damaged/Missing items will be charged at the replacement cost + Labor. We will provide proper documentation and photo evidence of any Damages or Missing Items.
REPORTING ISSUES Please report any issues within 2 hours of check-in to allow us the opportunity to resolve them promptly. Non-urgent issues reported after 9:00 PM will be addressed the following day. We may not be able to resolve, or provide a resolution, to issues that are not reported in a timely manner, lack sufficient documentation, or do not provide us with enough time to respond effectively during your stay. We are here to help!
LOST & FOUND Please ensure you have all your belongings before departure. Items left may be held up to one week at our local office for pickup, or can be shipped back at a fee. We are not responsible for locating left items.

Stayed here for the 2024 MSEC at UT. This place is near several places including a taco truck right across the street with good food.
The one thing I very much appreciated was the central A/C in the duplex. Very simple rules and cozy decorations. The desk they provide was really large and they provide lots of things such as shampoo, laundry detergent, iron and much more.
Communication with the staff is very fast. I very much enjoyed my stay and would reserve it again if I need to be near downtown Knoxville.

Stayed here for a weekend trip with a friend. The cabin is very stylish and comfortable, minimal but had everything we needed for a great price. The street itself is older and has some run-down parts, but we didn't have any problems as 2 women traveling alone. It's a super quick drive/ride to Market Street and there are several really cute places you can walk to, including the KenJo's convenience store RIGHT across the street that stays open until 3am. Hosts were really kind and accommodating. Would 100% stay again.

Starting with the badly uneven floors, you'll know what I mean when you go into the bathroom. The two houses have no address on them which makes a nighttime arrival difficult. No acc through the front door and parking was horrible. The next door property had four vehicles blocking the driveway and a RV parked so that I had to drive over the yard to get near the unit we rented. Furniture is wonky - couch in living room is literally on the floor, really tough to sit in comfortably and get up from. On the opposite end of the scale, the bed is about 3 1/2 feet in the air and spent all night worrying about the injury I could sustain if I rolled out. The door lock battery was so low it would not allow the door to be locked on leaving. We booked a two day stay, but left after one night. After we had been gone for over 7 hours, we got a phone call from the property manager asking that I move my car which was obviously not there. I guess the next nights guests had the same problem with the four cars and the RV blocking the driveway. So much for the 24 hour security camera system, clearly it is not monitored.

Got the room for just a night with the wife without the kiddos. We were both throughly impress with just how clean everything was. If we ever decide to go back to Knoxville for another one night stay, we’ll be coming back.
