"The location is ideal for visiting Harrogate, only a short walk into the city. We were at a conference in Harrogate so were out all day but retuning to this house was perfect. We loved the hotel touches such as fresh clean towels and toiletries! The interior was styled so lovely and bright, and it was great to have a supply of tea and coffee in the cupboard for when we arrived. The treats were a nice touch and so grateful for the peace and quiet as well as the free parking. Lots of nearby walks,...

"The house is very convenient for walking to the many attractions of York city centre. It was clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom and a good shower. Communcation with the host was excellent. We would certainly recommend!"

"We have stayed here before, and really enjoyed the location and the house. It’s a perfect location for us, a good sized flat, and well-equipped. The one issue we had this time was that it was late November and very cold, and the heating had not been switched on before we arrived. Therefore, it was very cold and the heating was ineffective until it had been on overnight. We wore coats inside the house and were cold overnight. "Everything about our stay, there was fantastic except the weather. It was in the 90s and of course there’s no air-conditioning but that’s not their fault hahah 10/10 would recommend. "

"Excellent location, charming, authentic. Located inside the historic city walls. Lots of stairs inside, but very easy walking to main city attractions. Highly recommended. "

"It was lovely. I don't know how the owners can up sticks and rent it out though, in the kindest way I mean! It was comfy, we loved the little conservatory even when it was slashing down with rain. I hope we left it clean and tidy. I think a cafetiere would be good at the property. If there was one, I couldn't find it. Thank you. "

"Our main objective in visiting York was the trains! We especially enjoyed the York Minster, the wall, the Shambles & the incredible history. The Friargate location was perfect for our group of 8. Highly recommend this comfortable, beautifully decorated home. Only snag was getting a parking ticket for parking a van in the designated spot in front of the house. "

"O hotel é maravilhoso, novo, moderno o que contrasta com a região. O quarto é incrível , lindo , confortável , limpo. A cama super macia, o chuveiro muito bom. Tem uma mesa para trabalho no quarto , uma penteadeira para maquiagem além de máquina de café nespresso, água, etc. A localização é brilhante , em frente as walls e a poucos passos do city Center , só atravessar a ponte a pé. York é uma cidade fantástica , vale muito a pena conhecer e claro , se hospedar no Malmaison!"
