"I was so impressed by this city and the hotel. The hotel backed up to a restaurant, which was playing live music (which could be annoying if you wanted to chill early, but I didn't mind it). The music ended around 8:30, and it was a calm night. There was a group of kids staying there for a dance competition, but they weren't disruptive at all. I would definitely stay here again. Check-in was easy, and breakfast was good. The area was safe, and there was plenty of parking. "
"Very good. Need Wingate sign at the hotel. It said “The Clover”. I figured it out. Very competent person at the desk. He handled multiple issues at once. You need grab bars in the bathroom. Bath tub floor slippery. Grab bars inside the shower too. I will definitely stay there again. "

The 2 things that could be improved are privacy curtains in my room were full length and could not be closed due to location of heating/AC; entrance door and bathroom door are very heavy and swing closed very fast. "The property itself was good, but we were told because we booked through a third-party site they required a $100 deposit. We paid it and usually when staying in hotels I see the deposit returned within a couple days. It took three weeks, three calls to the hotel and two calls to Marriot corporate to get it refunded.
