"The hotel is situated in a nice rural location easily accessible from the M5 and close to the main towns of Worcestershire. I would characterise it as a gastro-pub with rooms rather than a hotel. There was some disappointment that my allocated room was completely different to the room photo on Expedia which had French windows. My room was an attic with skylights. It had unusual dimensions. "Gorgeous lodge that is really remote that it feels like a little private area. Very clean, close to other food places. Hot tub so lovely and warm. Nicely fenced off or closed off with hedges."

"the Talbot was a little tired ( although it was erected in the middle fifteenth century ), quite quirky, sloping floors, in need of a refurb. Manager Craig was a great host, bar staff Darren & Bren were also top guys. Good selection of beers on tap. Room adequate, bathroom good. Hotel position is a great spot for exploring the area."

"The room was lovely, and comfortable, the staff helpful and friendly, the breakfast was excellent. The only poor thing was a very noisy fan somewhere outside my window, so I had to shut the windows on a hot night, the fan did go off, not sure what time, to be fair I do put the light out fairly early."
