"An enjoyable stay, use of the spa being free as a guest, 2 hour booking having the spa to ourselves was extra special, weather this be the same if hotel was busy, spa pool was quite small would have been quite full.

"We stayed one night in the chapel in room 1 downstairs, room spacious, clean and tidy. Bed was really comfy and good selection of tea/coffee and biscuits. No view from the widow but plenty of light and you can use the communal area if you wanted more space. Breakfast across the road at the Erskine arms was very good, a good choice and good service, we also had our evening meal there which was really good, husband enjoyed the cask ales. "Husband and I have just stayed here for a week with our big puppy and can honestly say the place is so beautiful, Jo and her husband have done a fantastic job with the pod and making it so homely inside. The pod had everything available from bed linen, towels, tea towels, cooking equipment, utensils, toaster, microwave , iron, ironing board, hair dryer, books, log burning fire and more.
Also for added security there is a fire blanket, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, smoke alarms and security...
