"Disappointing. This is a spacious gated resort. The Marina Hotel is a 4 storey building at one edge. A shuttle service is necessary to get to the restaurant and activity areas which are about 2Km away These shuttle vehicles must be summoned by phone. These vehicles are high and awkward. I am 70 and could not manage the steps up. If you are over 30 and even slightly heavy you will struggle. Shuttle buses only operate within the resort. "the hotel is "fine", but not worth the price nor the title. the staff makes a big effort to please and I am thankfull to them, but the place is absolutely not worth the price. there are much better places to stay in Koh Chang at a fraction of this price. the hotel is badly mantained and very very old instalations (very "used"); there is no beach, the gardens are not mantained and the transfer to Kho white Beaches happens only 4 times a day with last one at 19:00..."
