With a location one row back from the beach on a hill with amazing views, you’ve found the perfect big family or group getaway at Burd’s Nest. Spread across three levels, this vacation home features six bedrooms and two full kitchens. And the family dog is welcome to join in the fun, too, at this dog-friendly home. There’s private beach access just 100 yards away, and Currituck Sound is just across the highway. Charming Duck is two miles south, where you can stroll the water-front Duck Town Park Boardwalk past restaurants, shops, and fishing spots, or just make yourself comfortable for a gorgeous sunset over the sound.

There’s lots of fun to be had right at home as well, with a basketball hoop in the driveway for a game of pickup, a hot tub on the deck, a saltwater pool for the kids, and an outdoor bathroom with a full shower for rinsing off the day’s beach sand. More outdoor space includes several wraparound decks offering gorgeous ocean views, including a ships watch rooftop deck, the perfect spot for a stunning sunset.

Inside, both the bottom floor and top floor feature full kitchens and large dining tables, making it easy to cook for a crowd and enjoy meals together. There’s a family room on each level, along with eight TVs, a DVD player, and free WiFi. Play a game of foosball, then get comfy in the private theater room for a family movie. The night ends in any of the six bedrooms spread out across all three floors, including a primary bedroom with deck access, an en suite bath, and private sitting area of its own - but not before one last toast at sunset.

Things to Know
The gas fireplace is only available from November through March.
Private Pool Dates: The private pool is open May 1st through October 15th. The private pool is unavailable outside of these dates.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles.
