Reminiscent of days gone by and lots of mid century fun!

Great biking, walking paths, and lots of restaurants 3 minutes away.

Fully refurbished with lots of essentials inside and for the beach.
2 bedrooms , Comfy Queen beds in both bedrooms. 3 smart TV's
1 full bath and a large outdoor shower.

I provide your essentials to start your vacation worry free.
All linens, Bath towels, wash cloths, dog towels, paper towels, trash bags, Dish soap, shampoo, conditioner and dog shampoo (dog shampoo located in outdoor shower) I do not offer beach towels.

Iron and ironing board

This cottage belonged to my grandmother and I have many memories sitting around her red kitchen table. I hope you and your loved ones create fun and forever lasting memories around that same red kitchen table when you stay at Time And Tide.

We love dogs and know that taking them along on vacation is a must sometimes. I allow one dog with a $75 non refundable charge .I sometimes make exceptions for an additional smaller dog, but please ask first . PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE PET FEE IN YOUR RESERVATIONS.

Our yard is not fenced but we have plenty of room to walk in the back yard . If they've played at the beach, I have provided special towels for your dog to dry them after they're rinsed off from the hose we provide on the deck. Please no dogs on the furniture and beds and PLEASE clean up after your dog in the yard.. Thank you for loving your doggies and we hope they have a great time too. Feel free to ask any questions about our policy. ALSO A NATURE TRAIL THAT I HAVE PICTURED BOTH IN MY PHOTOS.

MCM Dream!!

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here! We enjoyed playing games on the red table, listening to records on the turntable, and grilling out on the patio. The host provided beach chairs and an umbrella which we were very thankful for. Would absolutely return, this place is a gem in OBX!

Big Mistake

We were very disappointed in this property. Upon entering we encountered a strong musty smell. The floors in the property were crazyā€¦especially near the bathroom (not quaint but dangerous- my spouse actually fell). Tried to sit outside but never realized how close we were to a swamp. Got many bug bites. Overall, while some people may enjoy the ā€œquaintness ā€œ I would definitely not recommend this property.

Great little spot in Kitty Hawk

My family enjoyed our short stay at this very clean and conveniently located property in Kitty Hawk. We appreciated the outdoor shower and beach gear for our trips to the beach. Host was super responsive and helpful! Holli even brought us a new umbrella once she heard we had issues with the existing one. We will definitely come back!

Vintage charm

Holliā€™s family property was absolutely adorable and the fact that it has been in her family since the 50s and still has the familyā€™s kitchen table just adds to the charm. It is a quick and easy drive to the beach and the lot is wooded and private. Holli was an amazing hostess. She was quick to offer suggestions for restaurants and easy to follow directions for check in. Holli keeps the house equipped the great extras like cotton swabs, body washes, dog shampoos and other things too. Holli also responded so quickly to questions. We were struggling with how to use the AC, and even in the middle of the night, she still responded. We have already shared her listing with friends, and Iā€™m sure we will stay again. Thank you Holli for a great spring break getaway.

Great Location!

The cottage was in a convenient location for getting around the OBX! The host was an excellent resource for things to do around the area, which made our stay that much better. Communication was almost immediate, and the suggestions were spot-on. We will be back at some point for sure!

Perfect for our family

The cottage was just as listed... adorable and one of the most clean rentals I have stayed in. It's very close to everything and beach access is right up the road. You can tell that the owners have put a lot of care into every detail.

Lovely vintage cottage with little touches that make you enjoy the stay. Like a dark washcloth that says Makeup!, paper cups in bathroom and coffee pods, sugar and creamers. Everything you need. One suggestion, driveway is on a curve and easy to miss! May want to slow way down at you pass 830 mailbox as 838 is coming soon!

Very nice place

The cottage was very clean, nicely furnished, and well-appointed (beds, linens, towels, kitchen, etc.). The only drawback for us was the passing vehicle noise as the cottage is situated just a few yards from a busy road. This apparently has not been an issue for majority of guests so maybe just us. Host(s) were great communicators and have done everything "within their power" to provide a wonderful stay.

Perfect beach getaway

Holliā€™s cottage was so warm and welcoming! The location is just a short hop to very convenient public beach parking. She has the most thoughtful accommodations to be able to spend vacay with your dog as well! She was easy to reach if needed and gave wonderful recommendations for local favorite restaurants/breweries. Our stay couldnā€™t have been better!

Cute and Cozy

This home was cute and cozy for our short getaway! A lot of thought was put into this vaycation home in terms of everything you needed to be comfortable. We loved the pet amenities provided that made it easy to travel with our pup! The only thing to be careful with is getting in and out of the driveway. The house is located on a road where there are blind spots to get onto the main road, and cars go well above the speeding limit! I know that is not the owners fault, but the city should change something about this.
