Simplicity meets luxury leading you the destination of your dreams… Situated in the calm village of Livadia, this brand new, lavish villa is the quintessence of comfort and luxury where residents can relax in their privacy and enjoy the beauties of Crete. Redesigned in 2013, the villa has emerged into a unique creation that blends contemporary design with traditional elements of the Mediterranean architecture. The elegantly stylish house offers a spectacular view to the sea and the 2.500m2 exterior is an earthly paradise with the pool into a lush vegetation and the outdoor Jacuzzi spa overlooking the sun setting over the horizon…

Interior

Measuring 250m2, the two level villa features three master bedrooms and one twin bedroom and a spacious, elegant living and dining room with magnificent sea view. The master bedroom located on the upper floor features an en suite bathroom and wonderful view to the sea whereas the twin bedroom of the same floor overlooks the verdant garden of the villa. The two attractively designed master bedrooms on the lower floor, open up to the garden, just a few steps from the sparkling pool.

Exterior

Villa Ostria is the ideal residence to relax, have fun, eat and live in the open. Surrounded by rich trees, it ensures privacy and seclusion. The luxury villa offers an expansive large veranda, with an unquestionably amazing view of the crystal sea, and the wild Cretan landscape. On a unique position literally at the edge of the cliff, the deck with the outdoor Jacuzzi tub allows you to admire golden sunset while enjoying an outdoor spa. Moreover, the pergola that shelters the pool area is perfect for outdoor dining, right in front of the turquoise waters and the flourishing garden.

Please be aware that a 15€ per night Climate Resilience Tax is applied to all reservations from 1st of March to 30th of October.

INCREDIBILE RELAX

Abbiamo soggiornato presso VIlla Ostria dal 29 settembre al 6 ottobre 2018, ma nonostante le previsioni del tempo non fossero delle migliori, siamo riusciti lo stesso a godere del clima e dei panorami offerti da Creta. Mare bellissimo e luoghi che Filippa vi potrà consigliare veramente incantevoli. La casa è incantevole e piacevolmente servita; ottima la colazione fresca offerta nel pacchetto, così come il servizio di pulizie. Il panorama ed il tramonto sono incredibili.... veramente n posto incredibile per rilassarsi in famiglia. Da non dimenticare il ristorante li a pochi passi così da togliere anche l'impegno dell'auto alla sera. Alla prossima

Stylisch auf Kreta

1 Woche Traumurlaub Wir haben die Villa Ostria Anfang Juni 2016 für eine Woche gemietet. Aufgrund einer 6 stündigen Verspätung des Fluges kamen wir morgens um 2.30 an der Villa an. Selbst zu dieser Zeit wurden wir freundlich erwartet. Am nächsten Morgen wurden wir von der tollen Lage und der tollen Villa positiv überrascht. Die Villa ist neu renoviert und absolut stylisch eingerichtet. Sie ist toll in die Pflanzenwelt eingebettet, da das Haus schon älter ist. Die Villa liegt irgendwo im nirgendwo. Das hat uns die ersten 2 Tage etwas irritiert, da wir unsere jungen Erwachsenen Kinder mithatten. Aber nach der Eingewöhnungszeit haben wir die Ruhe extrem genossen und alle im Alter von 20 bis 60 wollten gar nicht mehr weg vom Haus. Das Essen in der Taverne die fussläufig zu erreichen war , war sehr lecker. Zum Einkaufen muss man mit 15 Minuten Fahrzeit rechnen. In der Nähe ist der tolle Strand von Elafonisi. Der nächste Supermarkt is in Kissamos. Das sind 50 Minuten Fahrzeit. In dieser Gegend ist es noch nicht so touristisch. Das genießt man sehr. Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an Natasha, Anna, Gregory und das ganze Team

Avslappnad solsemester i lyxigt fristående villa

Både i jobbet och privat är jag bortskämd med bra logi när jag reser. För mig är det en väldigt viktig del för att kunna slappna av. Under min vistelse (sommaren 2014) på Villa Ostria fick jag en perfekt mix av allt jag behövde för en veckas semester i lugn miljö. Huset var smaktfullt designat, bra utrustat och hade en utsikt i världsklass. Jag har redan och kommer fortsätta att rekommendera era fantastiska villor till vänner och bekanta. 7 days in heaven!

Months after our visit to Greece we often remember with great affection and nostalgia the happy days we spent in Crete. We were lucky to find our ideal place to stay -with incredible value for money, at a very quiet and peaceful location offering breathtaking views to the sea and a big pool in its absolutely private and lovely garden. I must not forget to mention the villa's smart design and lovely furniture. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and we felt at ease, as if we were in our own home. Despite being secluded, our luxurious summer home was not very far away from the village or the taverna where we enjoyed the most delicious Greek dishes and of course fresh fish. Almost on a daily basis we would drive to the nearby beaches, including the famous pink sandy beach of Elafonissi. For me, this was the closest thing to Paradise. Mille grazie Natasa e Gregoris. Ci rivediamo prossimamente!

Stunning villa in an exceptional authentic village

We spent a week in this wonderful setup. On arrival, everything was as arranged with Natasha, the owner. Gregory the caretaker met us and led us to the villa.The villa is absolutely amazing. Spotless clean, aesthetical and with a 180 degrees seaview. The oversized pool is situated in the gardens and provides a magnificent experience of mindfullness. Absolutely wonderful. A need to see and feel. It is, as the rest of the house and the surroundings, 100% private. The villa is situated in the village of Livadia. We strolled the few hundred meters to the local taverna each day. The food is pure organic and adds to the mindfullness and wellness of your holiday. Add to this a real honest hospitality, from Natsha, Gregory the caretaker to Gianis and his family at the Taverna, to the father and son at the mini market in the Village. So, a luxury villa, with seaviews and stunning gardens / pool, in a truly authentic village, friendly and absolutely safe. It is a fantastis combination. We spent the whole week in the local area, with one trip to the beach of Elafonisi, half an hour ride from the house. The beach is fantastic. You must go there. Google it and check the pictures.

My favourite place

I love Villa Ostria. The location with the sea in front and mountains at the back. All the different birds soaring in the sky. The natural sounds of the village life, no disturbing music from loudspeakers. The long talk in the evenings with a nice little cat who kept his distance. The comfortable bed and bedlinnen. The secluded pool area. The local restaurant that we call “The seventh happines” Life is good in Livadia. K. Foss, Norway

Utter perfection - don't hesitate to book.

We have just spent a blissful week at Villa Ostria. Two families with children aged 8-12 and it couldn't have been more perfect, to the point where it was difficult to wrench ourselves away to go and explore the wonderful Elaphonisi beach. The service offered by Natasha and Mr Gregory were exemplary. The beautiful photos on the website really don't do it justice.

exactly what we were looking for. manager provided excellent service. pristine interior and exterior. would recommend to friends. gialates taverna, warm and welcoming, provided the best dinners. found grocery shopping a challenge.

Traumhaft

Wir haben am Strand von Elafonisi geheiratet. Ohne die Hilfe und Unterstützung von dem Vermieter und dem sehr netten Hausverwalter wäre dieses nahezu unmöglich gewesen. Als wir in der Villa Ostria ankamen, waren wir genervt, weil keine Kaffeemaschine vorhanden war und hier und da ein Staubkörnchen lag. Am Abend bereits durften wir die kretische Gastfreundschaft kennenlernen; wir trafen auf eine Frau in Livadia, die uns, ohne uns zu kennen, eine Kaffeemaschine (nagelneu verpackt) auslieh. Der Wirt der dortigen Taverne bot uns dazu noch an, morgens den frischen Kaffee vorbei zu bringen. Von diesem Zeitpunkt an war alles andere ein Traum. Der Pool wurde leicht grün - ein Wort und schon wurde dieser vom Hausverwalter am nächsten Morgen bereits vor dem Aufstehen gereinigt. Wir mussten zum Standesamt in die Berge - ein weiteres Wort und der Hausverwalter fuhr uns dorthin. Egal, welche Wünsche wir hatten - alles wurde ermöglicht - ohne weitere Kosten! Nach knapp 2 Tagen waren wir entspannter denn je, konnten Stunden auf dem Sonnendeck genießen und die Sonnenuntergänge bestaunen. Das Haus mag zwar hier und da nicht perfekt sein (im Untergeschoß roch es ein wenig klamm - es stand wohl im Winter leer), aber die Ausstattung mit Pool, Grill, die Lage, der überwältigende Ausblick und die Herzlichkeit der Menschen lassen einem das Gefühl geben, am schönsten Fleckchen der Erde zu sein. Dazu kommt noch die Taverne: nie habe ich so cremigen Schafkäse probiert. Der Koch und Tavernenbesitzer hat immer wieder neue Kreationen aus seinem Lehmofen gezaubert, wobei wir oft schon von den leckeren Vorspeisen gesättigt waren. Der Urlaub war natürlich begleitet von schönen Hochzeitsvorbereitungen, doch auch ohne zu heiraten ist Livadia ein Ort, an dem die Seele endlich baumeln darf.

Schöne Lage, die Villa sah schon bessere Zeiten..

Die Villa Ostria liegt an ruhiger Lage mit direktem Blick übers Meer und in den wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang von Kreta. - Der Zustand der Villa ist im Vergleich zur Preiskategorie mit "ok" zu werten. Die kaputten Türschlösser, die aktiven Schaben im Bade- & Schlafzimmer (alle erfolgreich erledigt..), die nur z.T. funktionstüchtige Herdplatte sowie die defekte Aussenbeleuchtung lies Wünsche offen. Da wir uns in der Gegend auskannten war der Ausflug in die umliegenden, köstlichen Tavernen und den weissen Stränden Programm. Leider war der Abschied alles andere als nett. Wurden wir doch trotz schriftlich zugesicherter "Late Departure" von Georgis (dem Hauswart) regelrecht hinausgeworfen. Fazit: Ein schöner Urlaub mit fahlem Nachgeschmack. Die Lokalität und der Service sind schlicht überbezahlt.
