"Beautiful place, nice staff. We loved the large pool, hot tub, and sauna. Very decent hot break-fast in the morning and our room was large and comfortable. Only thing that would have been nice is to have a bar fridge in our room. The intended space was there for it, but it wasn’t there. "

"We chose this hotel based on reviews, but we're very disappointed. We new this was not a 5-star hotel, but we'd expect it to be a lot better. Our first room was very bad, but among other problems the worst was the fact that it was dirty and the room smelled dirty feet. Even pillows smelled bad, so we asked to change room. The staff was really nice, extremely polite and helpful and problem was sorted fast, but we don't think we'll use this or any other Holiday Inn Express again. "

"Arrived late evening and was met by a very friendly receptionist, who sorted out everything very quickly. The property is being upgraded and therefore has building going on, how's the room was of a really good standard and very clean. I was very impressed. The breakfast was good and had a good choice. Will use again and definitely recommend it."

After turning down a wrong lane past the pub in the pitch dark (9pm on an October evening) ascending up at a dead end I rang the owner who instructed me to carry on past the pub for another 2 miles! I eventually arrived at a building signposted as the ‘equestrian centre’ so I drove a bit further and ended up driving around some lane in a woods (surrounded by curious deer and badgers!).
