Hands down, the thing we loved most were the two gentlemen staff/bar tenders in the main floor bar. I mentioned to the first one that I just wanted to see highland cows- he called up a friend and sent us down the street to a local farm for an up-close. "Our first reaction on entering was that the cabin was amazing and had a lovely aura about it. Over the week the feeling didn't diminish. Half way between Blairgowrie and pitlochry it was the perfect location for exploring. Lots of wildlife......roe deer, dragon flies, mining bees, flying ants, frogs, wrens, buzzards......all added to the enjoyment of our stay. The weather was also fantastic and too hot for midges. I must admit, I was happy to go home and get a comfy seat but a small price...

"Book it!! We are a family of 4 (girls aged 8 and 10) and this was brilliant! The cabin was full of everything you could possibly need and it was spotless! Plenty of walks straight from the door. Local pub great for a cold drink. Pitlochary is great for a mootch and has a huge co op. Would totally recommend Ben vrackie for a walk. About 6 miles, lots of steps up but the views are incredible!
