"We enjoyed a 2 night stay in one of the newly refurbished bedrooms (Room 5). The room was furnished to a high standard with a modern bathroom and excellent walk-in shower. The staff were uniformly friendly and efficient with a good selection of beers and spirits at the bar. We ate dinner one night and the food was well cooked and of a very good quality. "This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place."

We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise). Meu quarto tinha um odor desagradável vindo do carpete e solicitei a troca do quarto que foi concedida, mas o quarto continuou com o cheiro! Acabei desistindo de solicitar outra troca. Cheiro de carpete é horrível para alérgicos como meu marido. Outra coisa que achei estranha foi não pedirem nossos passaportes no momento do check in. Não sei se foi porque chegamos tarde, mas achei muito inseguro por parte do hotel…"
