"Renter beware. This is a transformed shed. The loft with a mattress is a box storage area. Not for people of size or age. The second bed is a small futon. River is not accessible because of erosion and broken glass. The river at this spot is not a place to swim because of debris building materials and car parts . The river view is spectacular and bird watching was good. A few other things but the owner said he would address those issues. Then weather was great! "

" Joe and Donna’s lake home is beautiful with all the amenities and comfort’s of home. This is now my “happy place”! I especially enjoyed being able to use the canoe and kayaks and have unlimited access to the pond. We saw beaver, Canadian Geese and even a loon during on our stay. Joe and Donna are very responsive and full of tips on hiking and sightseeing in this beautiful countryside. I can’t wait to book my next stay! "

"The cabin was very nice and clean. Located on a relatively secluded hill top with plenty of usable space around the cabin. We saw a couple deer and had daily visits from a few wild turkeys. Daughter enjoyed the pool/air hockey/foosball table."

"Todd is a wonderful host. He is extraordinarily responsive. The house is beautifully set up. The kitchen has everything you need to make full meals you can enjoy in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the stunning valley. The house is an easy drive to Willoughby lake and Mt, Pisgah for a day of hiking. "Great location near downtown Franconia - walkable to Iron Furnace, Franconia Basecamp, Hungry Bear, etc. we came for a family reunion and the house worked great for our nuclear family of 6. Very old house - don’t forget to duck if you’re tall! Also would be a fantastic base for a great ski week and Cannon/Bretton Woods/other nearby ski areas. We will be back!!! "

"This house was so well planned. Despite it's listed small size, it easily house all 7 of us, with room to spare. The only two things I would have changed: I would have brought a hair dryer. In this day and age, I was surprised there wasn't one, and I was definitely not photogenic without one.Also, the wood stove was broken. Yes it was summer, so getting it fixed was not urgent, but it would have been nice on one of the colder nights.Otherwise, I'd go back to this house in a minute. It was...
