"What a wonderful time we had!! Gorgeous location. While the deck is connected to Mercury’s home, the stay is super private. Sam and Mercury were generous and kind with provisions, local recommendations and fruit from their property. We were treated with a rainbow the first and last night of our stay! Loved all the critter noises (frogs, birds, etc), sleeping with the open air and waking up to the sunrise. Cooking on the outdoor kitchen was a dream. Great walking distance (1m) to a local...

"Our second stay in this house (top floor only).Easy booking, clear instructions, has as described. Great location for our stay in Hana. Helpful host!We were familiar with the house and it is as advertised. The only issue was two of the fans don't work as they should (one moves little to no air now as compared to our last stay) and the other started making very loud noises during the night and woke 2 of us up. When they are fixed all will be great! "

"Just absolutely stunning. Beautiful views and everything that you need to make for a luxurious getaway. Great layout of the property to ensure everyone has their privacy. Loved falling asleep to the gentle breezes, lite rains, and waking up with an unobstructed view of the valley below. Close to makawao town for shopping and dining and just far enough away from everything else to make it feel like a true getaway. "

"Just wonderful. Bananas and star fruit growing in the yard, amongst dozens of different flowers. You do have to share the premises with cows and geckos….fine by us! Big, open rooms, very old-beach style. Wonderful ocean views, particularly from the upstairs bedroom. A great visit."

"Great location in Hana easy to get to Black sand beach! Good size, clean room with very comfortable bed. Nice, newwr clean shower with soap, shampoo/conditioner; sunscreen and aloe was also available. Coffee, tea, water and granola bars/biscuit bars. Easy clear check in/check out. I would highly recommend staying. "

" What a charming cottage! We only wish we had more time to enjoy it. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the sound of crashing waves made for the most peaceful sleep. Everything about the house and location was perfect—the spectacular view of Hana Bay, the spotless and comfortable interiors, and the well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials. Every room looked just as pictured on the website, which we truly appreciated. We loved our stay and would absolutely return!"

"This property is amazing! Not right on the water but great view of the ocean, can hear the ocean and 3minute walk to the beach!! Beautiful property and plenty of extras such as a jacuzzi, sauna, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach toys for the kids, and an on-site private outside shower to clean up after walking or playing in the beach. "

"For Hana, this was a great find. AC in both bedrooms. Nice porch with a great view. Full kitchen. Modern rain shower was great after the long drive. Check and out was easy. "

"This was our first time making it out to Hana to stay for a couple of nights and I wish we had had more time there. The house was perfect for our group of six. We really appreciated that they had six beach chairs, two umbrellas & plenty of towels. The outside shower was a real help in making sure sand didn’t make its way into the units. I highly recommend this property"

"This property is absolutely breathtaking, I’m sure I took atleast 50 pictures or the view from the bedroom alone. The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming and were quick to answer with any questions we had. This was our last stop on our elopement/honeymoon in Maui and it was the perfect relaxing and quiet end to it. We would love to come back again someday soon."
