"We stayed at what is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, but we were disappointed that there was no air conditioning or telephone service in the room. As it was a very warm week during the heatwave, the room became quite uncomfortable and we had to request an extra fan. We also paid an additional £10 for a sea view, but unfortunately there was scaffolding outside the hotel building, which affected the view and was disappointing. "The room and bed was massive and both the room and bathroom was very clean . A little note on arrival was very welcoming and a lovely touch. Plenty of shops bars and places to eat right on the doorstep. The nightclub was closed so the only noise was from the seagulls and pigeons . Would recommend."

"Breakfast was super, staff are kind and helpful. On-site parking was available but very squashed-difficult to get out. We arrived in very hot weather but no fans available. Easy walk to promenade, Cardigan bay and good restaurants."

"Perfect stay while visiting family in Aberwystwyth. Staying in a suite room, which had plenty of space, comfy bed and a small kitchenette. The location is next to the golf course and the club house is available for food and drinks. We used the driving range."

"We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). "Our two nights stay was fabulous I would definitely recommend staying here. All the staff were extremely friendly and hard working. Our room was very spacious and very clean we were in Suite 16 which also had its own car parking space which was very handy. We will definitely book to stay here again."

"D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility...
