Grand Traverse County Cabin in the Woods

Enjoy this cozy cabin in the woods. Nestled in the red pines just minutes from Traverse City. Appreciate all that the seasons have to offer with family and friends. Relax by the outdoor fire pit or enjoy the beautiful lakes nearby. The Northern Michigan night sky offers an amazing view of the Milky Way and even an occasional display of the Northern Lights. Unplug and enjoy the woodlands and when you want to reconnect with the outside world there is wireless internet and a 60" tv, or take time for a game of shuffleboard. Freestanding fireplace gives a relaxing glow while watching the beautiful sunsets. One mile to ORV, snowmobile and equestrian trails. Close to the TART biking and hiking trails, 18 hole disk golf course, lakes, casinos, wineries and shopping. Pets are welcome for a small additional fee.

Weekend Stay for a Softball Tournament

Our stay was amazing. Wayne and Teri made the entire process simple. They answered all questions super quickly, check-in was as simple as going to the cabin and opening the door (with the keypad). The cabin was cute and clean and had everything we could have possibly needed and way more. My daughter loved the smores' and the fire pit was perfect and all set to use. We would 100% stay here again. We had a great time. The only negative is we were gone for softball a lot and would have enjoyed having more time to hangout in the cabin. Thanks for the great stay.

Absolutely gorgeous little get away! We were able to prep a good meal for our ball players nightly and always had the best hospitality when it came to checking to make sure the AC was working and even asked how the ball team was doing! Highly recommend a stay here, and will look into it again!

MichiganScapes Photography Weekend Workshop

The Hodge Lodge was the perfect place to lay our heads after long days and nights exploring northern Michigan to photograph the landscape and night skies. We met Wayne and Teri upon arriving, and they were always quick to respond to questions or needs. They thought of everything we could want or need for our stay including homemade cherry salsa from their garden and sā€˜mores kits for the fire. The decor in Hodge Lodge was meticulously curated and fun to look at. We enjoyed editing photos by the indoor fire. The beds were very comfortable. We will be back!

Very clean! Great for 3 couples. Itā€™s kind of set up like a lodge. Open floor plan with central big couch space, full kitchen and on the opposite end a Shuffle board!! Horseshoes outside. Nice big property for the dogs. Large bedrooms. Will stay again!!

Great Up North Retreat

The Hodge Lodge was perfect, my husband and I enjoyed everything about. The cabin was very well maintained, bed was comfortable, very clean and just a great place to stay. One of the best rentals we have stayed at. Our dogs enjoyed themselves as well.

Extremely clean and welcoming cabin. The property is beautiful. Great bonfire setup with string lights that adds a great touch. Beds are very comfortable. The upstairs bedroom was perfect for our daughter and her best friend. Pictures do not do the cabin justice. We really enjoyed our stay!

Summer get away

The Hodge Lodge was uniquely decorated, clean and had everything that you would need. Wayne & Teri are great host. They are quick to answer questions. They had smores ready for the fire when we got there. It was a great stay. Our pup Matty loved it as well!!
