This waterfront home is designed with the family in mind. There are wonderful views from the kitchen and living room, and just wait until you get outside. There is a covered patio right off the house and another concrete patio closer to the water that has numerous Adirondack chairs, fire pit, kayaks and a hammock.
Your kids will love the river with its sandy bottom. The flood changed the river some, but there is still 2-3 feet of water in front of our house, and a large "island" just across from us that is probably 1-2 feet deep for the little ones. As you venture out across the water, or head a house or two south in the water, it starts to get deeper. Feel free to drag the chairs in the water, or on the beach area directly in front of the property, and enjoy a drink. The Llano River feeds in to Lake LBJ and therefore stays at a fairly constant level. We also have two kayaks, a single and double, numerous floats and enough life jackets to make sure everyone is safe.
When you have had enough of the water, if that's possible, or the dark brings you in, enjoy some fun in the game room. We have all the old favorite board games, a dart board and ping pong table. There is also a TV in there with an old XBOX 360 so if you have any games you enjoy playing bring them along.
The house has three bedrooms. Primary Bedroom: Queen Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Bedroom 3: Twin-Over-Twin Bunk Beds and a Queen Size Bed. A full sized kitchen with all the amenities, including a double oven and large dining area for enjoying the fruits of your labor. Enjoy wonderful views while you eat then retire to the living room to relax. Two full sized couches and free Wi-Fi make late night binge watching on Netflix a breeze.
Book a tee time at Lighthouse Country Club or Legends Golf Course and enjoy championship courses that will challenge every level of player. Take a tour of the local wineries and breweries, make a short drive to Llano for top 50 Texas BBQ at Coopers, or stay local and enjoy Crazy Gals or a Tequila Jalisco.
Outdoor enthusiasts will want to explore Inks Lake State Park or Longhorn Cavern State Park for hiking in all skill ranges and terrains. You can see for miles from high points in Inks Lake, or walk through a lush forest in Longhorn Cavern. Longhorn Cavern also offers a wild cave tour, guided walking tour, and a photography tour!
