"This was not the "Hideaway" advertised. The host's teenage son had a bday party complete with airguns and plenty of teens screaming and running around the property. It was loud and triggering and NOT AT ALL the peaceful experience that was advertised. The noise stopped at 10 pm - apparently the start of 'Quiet Hours.' "I had an awesome time in cabin #4! I enjoyed the gorgeous view of the lake and had fun paddleboarding from the marina steps away. Although I was in the water with a snake swimming close by, I felt safe with many visitors nearby. The staff on property were friendly and helpful. The Friday night movie was a lot of fun and the firepit felt cozy and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

"Was not happy with check in as we had asked for early check in if possible. We received a call around noon and was told the cabin would be ready for us at 2. When we got there they were still cleaning the cabin and told us it would be another 20 to 30 minutes before we could get in. Not pleased with the overall. "

"Area felt dangerous and had loud music blaring till 12am. Thank you for teaching us a lesson in triple checking reviews and area before. Will never make this mistake again. Cabin was filthy and they just tried to cover it with glade scent vaporizer. Towels and shower were disgusting. I wish I could say better about this place I really wanted it to be nice."
