Downstairs at Yaya’s by the Lake features a spacious, open-concept layout that brings together the kitchen, dining, and living areas—ideal for group meals, game nights, or relaxing after a day at the lake or on the slopes. The kitchen is generously equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, ample counter space, two dining tables, and an adjacent island with additional seating. With dining space for up to 14 guests, it’s well-suited for everything from casual breakfasts to celebratory dinners. The warm, inviting great room features a large sectional, gas fireplace, and smart TV, offering a comfortable place to unwind after the day’s adventures.

The home has four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and two decks that overlook a fully fenced backyard and the 8th hole of Old Brockway Golf Course. The course is bordered by natural forest, offering wide-open views and a peaceful, woodsy backdrop. One deck includes a propane grill and an outdoor dining table. The second deck is strung with bistro lighting and features a cozy lounge area with an outdoor sofa, two umbrellas for shade, and two small café tables with chairs—an ideal spot for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

The only downstairs bedroom is a second suite with a queen bed, full-size sleeper sofa, and an en-suite bathroom with a tub. It’s a comfortable choice for grandparents or guests who prefer ground-level access. This room also includes a desk and a dedicated workspace for remote work.

Upstairs features a king suite with heated bathroom floors, a queen bedroom, a shared bathroom, and a room with a twin-over-twin bunk and a twin daybed with pull-out trundle. Please note that the wood stove fireplace in the king suite is currently non-operational and is not available for guest use.

The layout is perfect families, groups, or couples traveling together. Additional features include fast Wi-Fi throughout, a propane BBQ grill, and a private driveway that accommodates up to four vehicles.

To make your stay more comfortable, we provide a welcome starter pack with essentials like coffee, tea, paper products, dish soap, laundry pods, and more. Bathrooms are thoughtfully stocked with full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to help you feel at home.

Whether you're here to ski, enjoy a golf getaway, relax by the lake, or simply unwind, we hope your stay at Yaya’s is filled with joy, connection, and a little Tahoe magic. Settle in and soak it in—Yaya-style.

Guest Access
* Guests have full access to the home, both decks, and the fully fenced backyard (with the exception of a few locked owner closets).

* The garage is primarily used to store home amenities, but a compact vehicle may fit—clearance is tight and best suited for small cars only.

* The driveway fits up to four vehicles and is plowed in winter. During snowstorms, guests may need to clear around their vehicles, as the driveway is plowed but not hand-shoveled. Please leave space between vehicles and the garage doors in winter, as there’s a built-in drainage system that can become icy. Take care when walking in this area, especially during snow or freezing temps.

* Check-in is simple and contactless with a keyless smart lock.

* There are a couple of small steps at the entrance, but the first floor is otherwise accessible and generally comfortable for older guests or those with limited mobility.

👶 Baby & Toddler Gear:
Pack ’n Play, Bob stroller, baby monitor, sound machine, highchair, life vests, toddler carrier backpack, foam bed rails, safety gate, and enclosed 36x36" play yard. Feeding supplies are also available.

🏖️ Beach Gear:
Towels, wagon, rafts, sand toys, beach volleyball, beach chairs, a large beach canopy, cooler, and beach umbrellas.

🎮 Entertainment & Extras:
Games, puzzles, sleds, snowshoes, two bikes, a guitar, golf clubs, and an older PlayStation with a few games available for guest use (seasonal or as-is condition).

🎄 Holiday Extras:
A small pre-lit Christmas tree is available for guests who visit during the holiday season. We also have a countertop turkey roaster available upon request—perfect for Thanksgiving or winter gatherings.

🚪 Storage Info:
One closet in the upstairs primary bedroom and a small downstairs closet will be locked for owner storage. A standing clothes rack and a large dresser are provided for guest use in the primary bedroom.

🔥 Seasonal Use:
Propane BBQ grill is available weather permitting—typically usable spring through fall. Outdoor furniture and grill is stored during winter months and will not be available during snow season. The gas fireplace in the great room is a heating source that will be turned off during summer months.

⛳ Golf Course Note:
This home backs up to the 8th hole of Old Brockway Golf Course. While rare, golf balls may occasionally land in the yard during the spring, summer, and fall. Please use caution when outside—especially with young children.

🚿 Hot Water Tip:
Like most homes in the area, hot water may run low if many long showers are taken in a row. We recommend staggering showers when possible.

📺 Smart TV Access:
Smart TVs are available in the living room and bunk room. Guests should log in with their own streaming accounts and remember to log out before checkout.

🐻 Bear Safety:
Tahoe is bear country. Please do not leave food, trash, or coolers outside, and keep windows and doors secured when not home.

❄️ Winter Reminder:
Shovels and snow removal tools are provided in case guests need to clear around their vehicles during heavy snowfall.

📹 Security Cameras:
For security and peace of mind, there is a Ring doorbell camera at the front entry and a driveway-facing camera. Both are exterior-only and do not monitor any private or interior spaces.

NO REFUNDS - Even the best or newest home has equipment that may occasionally malfunction and cannot be guaranteed operational 100% of the time. We promise to act immediately to remedy any issues, however, we do not relocate or issue refunds due to malfunctioning equipment or any other guest dissatisfaction or due to construction noise or any other items out of our control, unless the home is considered uninhabitable.

No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.

- Primary renter must be over the age of 25, have a fully verified profile and previous positive reviews inside the booking platform.
