"James and Diane's cabin was a little slice of paradise in rural Maine. The scenery right out the back door is absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed listening to the calls of the loons at night while sitting on the deck with cocktails. The house was spotless and has everything you could need for your stay. "It was a get away to a quiet place with a lot of unique features. There is a walking path lit with colorful leds, that was fun to stroll. The out house is funky but very clean, a very rural experience. The cabin was very nice, almost like palacial tree house but on the ground. It was warm enough and I slept well too. "Great time. Place was amazing. The swimming was great for young ones that came to visit and the dogs. Adult son loved the bunkhouse to himself. Outdoor shower was a hit! Port-a potty was clean and emptied during our stay. Can't wait to go back! Host was very helpful and greeted us our first day to show us the ropes. "

"We spent our 25th Anniversary in this lovely, relaxing home. Just what we needed to get away from our busy schedules. Perfect locale watching the loons, enjoying coffee on the deck, and not having to worry about leaving our dog at home. The kitchen is well stocked, except no pizza pans but we made it work. The second bathroom was also a bonus!"

"This was our third time staying at this property. We’ve done a winter stay and now 2 summer stays and we’ll be on another next year because we’ve already booked. It is an awesome location, enough rooms for all of us and it’s right on the water so my sister and I can float. (Which is our favorite.) the lake is clean and cool perfect for floating. Our host is always there for any questions. "

Came into town with a friend to hike in Baxter and this was a great place to relax and recuperate. Close enough to any gas stations, grocery stores or restaurants you may need. Awesome overall."

"Perfect summer camp had everything we needed to swim, kayaking, grilling, playing with our dog and more. Kitchen was clean and had plenty of the basics. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of towels. Beds were comfy and plenty of pillows. Lots of firewood too! We will be back! Check in was easy and host responded very quickly with all questions answered."

"As advertised. Clean, spacious, modern. This is a remote area and a fantastic way to leave everything behind. There's no cell service here (by my carrier, at least), so it was actually nice to not be bothered by incoming texts. The on-site wifi is very strong, so you can stay connected if you wish.
