The flat is great with everything you need and we felt really comfortable and at home for our long weekend.Elderly dad managed the one flight up to the flat no problem and handy having the bus stop right outside too.Great flat and host so will be our new holiday flat going forward. "We really enjoyed our stay. The check in with Isobel was very smooth and easy. The cottage is actually bigger than the front view suggests, as it has been extended at the rear. The bed was very comfortable. The cottage is well equipped and very clean and just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and facilities in Lamlash. "Small, quiet and cosy well-equipped cottage, immediately on the sea front with private deck area and pebbled beach, with main beach roped off and sloping down to sea. View of sea from inside cottage is more limited, but side windows do give a reasonable view. I was there on my own and although the cottage is equipped for 2, it would probably feel cramped for more than a couple of days if more than 1 person was staying there. "You are staying on a boat on land however it was modernised with flushing toilets and hot water and heating. Hosts Lynette and Angus were lovely and could not do enough for us, loved our welcome treats and nice touches throughout the boat. Perfect for a couple with medium size dog. "Lodge was spotless, good size, hot tub great and very relaxing.Bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in the mattress needs replacing.Shower great very powerful however it didn’t drain very well and folded the floor, kitchen was great but utensils need reviewing, ie new saucepans and frying pan, oven trays needed ."
