"Stayed Xmas eve and Christmas night whilst visiting family. Xmas trimmings looked good, liked the Christmas stocking left on the bed.Lovely friendly staff. Nice clean room, comfy bed. Very quiet. Easy to use heating controls and good to have option of opening the window. "

"Hotel is opposite the station. Staff were friendly and efficient, the rooms were quiet and clean and the breakfast was excellent. Would have no hesitation in staying again. "

"The hotel has fabulous Christmas decorations that make it feel even cosier and more inviting. The staff were really friendly, professional & welcoming. The room was a good size and clean and well presented, as was the bathroom. The bar area was relaxed and had a nice atmosphere. Only one issue during the visit. The breakfast sandwiches were in stotties that seemed a bit stale. We didn’t feed this back at the time, which I now realise was unfair. Apologies."

"We stayed over the night before flying out of Newcastle airport for a Christmas break. The hotel was spotless and staff as always very pleasant. We ate dinner here and the menu choice is good and not too expensive for where it is. We always choose to stay here the night before flying because we like to use Jet2’s twilight check-in service."

"The hotel is beautiful and maintains many original features. There is a masterpiece of juxtaposition with the old meeting the new aspects, I loved this hotel and would recommend it to anyone. The food was melt in the mouth and homemade yummy! Also it was very reasonable prices for such a good hotel well done!! Will see you soon "
